I needed a quick, not too expensive solution to convert a gloomy temporary rented accommodation I am staying in into a cosy and practical living space (can see what you are doing when you need to).So much lighting is over designed, over priced and under performs but, on paper at least, this looked unpretentious and affordable enough to take a chance.From the moment I opened the box this light has exceeded my, admittedly sceptical. expectation. The build quality is surprisingly good compared to some very expensive equivalents I looked at in stores. There is a discrete elegance about the honest simplicity of the design but best of all it lights the room wonderfully, matching the varying needs of different scenarios – bright when you are active and need to see what you are doing, soft diffused light, dimmed to create a relaxing ambience when you want to chill. The controls are straight forward and direct. You go straight to what you want and the setting is remembered so there is none of that tedious scrolling through a sequence every time you switch it on or off.I am very pleased with it – especially as I bought 2!!

Was looking for LED floor lamp for a while. Needed something that’s fairly bright and this ticks all the boxes and more.The design is slim and compact. It is well packaged. Easy straightforward assembly.The floorlamp is double sided meaning it provides both uplight and downlight, which can be set to up only/down only or both on. The lighting angle can be tilted manually to suit.There are 4 colour temperatures to choose from for each lighting side. The customisation is easy to do from the remote control.The magnetic remote can be attached on the stand to avoid going missing. There are controls on the lighting pole too so even if you misplace the remote, you can still control the lights. Note: batteries not included for remote, which is fine.Overall well pleased with the purchase. The final test will be that of durability. And as with all things, time will tell :-) but I am hopeful at the moment it will last a long while.

Bought to replace a burned out halogen uplighter. Fairly easy to put together, works perfectl;y with a wide range of adjustment from very dim to really bright and a good temperature range too.

We were very pleased with this lamp, which was bright enough to replace the tungsten bulb uplighter that we were using but far more energy efficient. Having used it for a while we noticed that it seemed to have a fault, as the light would go out if we rotated it to shine in a particular direction.We raised this with the suppliers who gave us some repair instructions, but I was not keen on carrying out a repair on a brand new item so they were happy to replace the lamp instead.The replacement works perfectly and we are enjoying the flexibility of being able to change the colour temperature, giving us a nice warm glow in the evenings and a clear work light when needed.If you are looking to replace a power hungry tungsten uplighter I would recommend you try this lamp.

Had this for almost a year now and it's great! So useful to have a remote and to be able to change the brightness and colour temperature, and adjust the direction if needed.

Wanted a lamp that was controllable. Love this is remote controlled and can be set super bright to dim and everything in between. Cheap to run and safe.
