One thing I really like is the size: it comfortably fits two eggs plus an extra egg white, which is perfect if you’re trying to add a bit more protein without overcomplicating things. Cleaning is also a breeze. It doesn’t stick much at all, so a quick rinse (or into the dishwasher) and it’s ready to go again. It’s such a simple tool, but it makes preparing eggs incredibly quick and hassle-free, especially in the morning before going to work. You just crack the eggs in, pop it in the microwave, and within a couple of minutes you have perfectly cooked eggs — no mess, no fuss. I’ve used it multiple times now, and it’s been consistently reliable. Overall, a great kitchen gadget if you want a fast, convenient way to make poached eggs or omelettes without using a pan. Highly recommended!

Good solid product and easy to make great fuss free pasta. For a quick trial run I put approximately 180 grams of pasta and about one litre of water into the Pasta Maker and cooked it in my 900 watt Microwave for 10 minutes and then let it stand for a minute. Pasta came out just perfect for me. Washing up was a breeze with a little soapy water and then a good rinse Wonderful, no steamed up kitchen and no pan to scrub. Just two things to look out for. Firstly it’s quite a large pot so check the measurements and ensure that it fits into your microwave. Max width, including the handles, is about 27cm and max height about 16 cm. Secondly the lid doesn’t clip on so you have to hold the lid in place whilst draining. No problem for most people but if you have problems with your hands it might be better to dig out the old colander to drain it. Really pleased with this product, does exactly what it says on the pot – fuss free easy pasta.

This is a great way to leave pasta unattended and fuss free whilst cooking. I have had no issues with boiling over or foam as others have suggested, even when boiling the maximum amount of pasta. It's easy to clean and is made from good quality materials. It saves on washing up, boiling over and has a very handy strainer lid. However, the timings in the leaflet are not right. I assume they have not allowed for cold water (which they specify). So my first batch was very undercooked. I now add 25% extra time on the specified time, and the pasta turns out absolutely fine. This does mean it takes longer to cook pasta than on the stove, but the convenience is worth it.

Well made and designed and I would have loved to keep it, but the instructions said that it is only suitable for use in a microwave at a maximum setting of 800W. This was not clear from the product description. Sadly my microwave is 1000W and doesn't have an 800W or 700W setting, so I had to return it. If you have a microwave with the appropriate settings, then it is an excellent product and would be very useful.

Although I haven't used this item as yet I can see it playing a central part in the cooking of the coming festive dinner. It's a well made item and an adequate size to steam all the veggies I'll need in one go. Well worth the investment.

Good value

I'm not interested in omelettes, I bought this just to poach eggs. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. After three attempts and four ruined eggs I gave up and sent it back. Life is too short!

Useful for omelettes. The lid does not stay locked on with mine but that’s not a real issue. I tried poaching eggs and it seems useless at that (it created an impressive mess). Omelettes are fine though. You have to experiment a couple of times to find the right settings for your microwave.

Très bon produit pour les pâtes, je n'ai pas encore testé pour les pommes de terre. Utilisé depuis février 2025, il est assez facile à nettoyer. De façon pratique, j'ajoute 3 minutes - en mettant de l'eau déjà très chaude du robinet, au temps de cuisson indiqué sur les paquet de pâtes. La cuisson est alors pratiquement toujours parfaite. Le couvercle (à ne pas laisser en cuisson) sert d'égouttoir très pratique.

Lid kept popping open. Spilled over. Tastic rice wasn't cooked after the guide time. Had to cook for like 30min. Came out soggy. Followed instructions. Used a 900w defy microwave.
