Sealey Fp2 Foot Pump Twin Barrel, Red

Without sounding like a salesman, Sealey have been making foot pumps forever. This is another high quality product that should last a long time.

I got this twin barrel foot pump to replace an ancient single barrel version which was just not up to the job. This Sealey pump is certainly much more powerful and made light work of topping up the tires on our Citroen C1. As others have said, the pressure dial is pretty unreliable so you will need a separate gauge. But overall a decent foot pump at an excellent price. I wish I had got one sooner.

Solid construction. Beware the adjustable valve that regulates the pump pressure, this must be wound in to blow up higher pressure items like bike tyres else all the air vents from the foot pump itself. Built in gauge is not accurate.

Straight out of the box the pressure gauge doesn't work, reading anything from 10-60 on a tyre known to be at 30, absolutely useless, do not buy if you want to accurately inflate tyres! Time was when Sealey produced a great product, sadly not anymore! Didn't want to give any starts but seems you have to give at least one!

Got this to maintain my car's tyre pressure (good reasons of fuel economy, braking distance and tyre wear). Easier, cheaper and more flexible than electric pumps. Has adaptors for bikes, mini-pools, canoes and footballs. 1st thing to fall out of the box was the plastic cover for the gauge. It was loose and needed glue tp put it back in place (but that invalidates the warranty and prevents me returning it). The Gauge is vital to get right tyre pressures Next was the rubber feet (also needing to be glued on). The feet are important and the bare steel is narow and will sink or cut into what it lies on. The QC was definatively lacking. The barrels hiss and leak but it only takes about 2 minutes to connect and put 5 psi into my tyres. It has a long enough hose to reach a valve at the top of a 19" car tyre. The hose connector lever-lock is plastic and could break but looks just sturdy enough, if you are careful. If it does snap, I am not sure how easy it'd be to repair or replace. The pump'd be nearly useless if that happened. Other models have a heavier or even steel lever. So It works for me, but it is an economy model. Recommended (if you use it with care)
