I got this for my daughter to learn the basics of using a bow and arrows. The plunger style work ok for indoors, but the ends are very heavy. I'd just toss them and use the field tip arrows. It's a cheap bow, but works for target practice to get young kids used to it.

I was hoping for more and should have realized from the picture it is for y I younger children. My son just started to get into hunting and I was hoping this would be a start to him leaning to use a bow and arrow. I should have just gotten a youth compound bow for hunting to start with and not this toy.

My son really likes the idea of a bow and arrow but we have not been able to find a bow that has worked successfully for him until now. This bow is definitely made to help you get used to the way you hold one draw back and shoot. It's not super flimsy and is very durable. The quality of the arrows are actually quite nice and they shoot straight. It's definitely a bow that you would grow into so it's made for beginners but you could use it when you get better at using one too so it's versatile. It does come with several different kinds of arrows so that you can use the targets included to practice what you're shooting at which is nice. I would say overall it was definitely worth the money as he is learning how to use it and enjoying it.

Archery is it great sport to get kids into. It can be a lot of fun for kids and adults, but a lot more fun if you can hit your target.With the set you do get everything you need to have some fun. You get: a pretty cool bow and string, three Target arrows, three suction arrows, a quiver, a wrist guard, and even a target. It is functional and pretty fun to play with.They only flaw I found, was with the arrow rest. The arrow rest is a huge pass through ring, where the arrow just has to kind of rest at the bottom of a large circle. This can affect accuracy which equates sometimes to safety. When you pull the string back the arrow seems to stay pretty still but just before releasing, the twisting of the string causes the arrow to Veer to the right before even releasing. This could make you miss your target by 10 ft or more depending on your distance, which could be very dangerous. I know it's just a toy and this really shouldn't matter much, but the target arrows are real, they could do damage.It is a pretty cool kit, and a pretty cool design, just needs a little more work. Any sort of V-shape in the middle of that circle with the hold the arrow in place, it shouldn't be that hard to get some sort of arrow rest in that Circle. Still a lot of fun to shoot, recommended with good supervision.

Let's start by stating that this bow and arrow set is by no means a toy set. The included arrows can be very dangerous without adult supervision. Even the covered rubber arrows will inflict damage is not used properly.With the safety speech given let’s start with the good,- Super simple to assemble, ready for action in less than 2 minutes.- Includes 3 seriously sharp and well-balanced arrow and 3 arrows in color green with a suction cup at the end.- Arm guard is included and recommended to be used as the string re-bounce can be painful without the protection.I recommend really minding your backstop you want to use a OSB board or straw bale, the force and speed for the arrows are very dangerous if not properly used.I do recommend this bow for a family with kids.Be responsible.

While this is intended for kids and teenagers, it's actually nice enough to be fun for just about anyone. The quality of the design and materials is better than I expected. The amount of effort required to pull the string back is suitable for lots of ages/ability levels.I was actually very impressed by the amount of velocity this bow provides. I was able to stand approximately 35 feet away from a flat glass surface and could consistently get the suction cup arrows to stick to the glass in a fairly tight group. The other arrows provided with the semi-blunt tips are also able to achieve good velocity farther out than that.This is definitely not a toy that should be messed around with. With a sharper tipped arrow this could probably be used to kill small to medium sized game. Parental supervision is definitely recommended.This is easy to assemble, comes with three suction cup arrows, three semi-blunt tipped arrows, a quiver with strap, instruction booklet, and some targets. My wife and I are in our 40s and we get a lot of enjoyment out of this. This exceeds my expectations and I'd recommend this product.

This bow and arrow set was given to my nephew and he loves it. It is safe with the right supervision. The idea is a great learning step for anyone who wants to learn how to shoot a bow. The circle that the arrow goes into keeps the arrow from falling out and hurting a beginner. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to shoot.

This bow set is really pretty neat. It's big enough for an adult to play with but light enough for kids to [have] fun with in terms of draw weight. The bow came broken down in the box with all accessories as described to include the quiver, arrows, guard, targets, etc. It was easy to set up. The suction-cup arrows were perfect for shooting paper cups indoors with a plywood backdrop in my house. We haven't tried it outdoors yet as it has been wet and cold, but the bow seems sturdy and works well. The complaint I have is that it doesn't have whiskers in the rest. It is less stable without whiskers and small hands won't easily compensate given the reach from the handle up to the arrow rest. Otherwise I really like it. It seems like a fair deal given the functionality and completeness of the set, particularly as a gift "toy" or just for messing around in the back yard.
