Got this to use for small batches of sausage throughout the year or for our adult kids to use at their homes when they want to make sausage. We had a Kitchenaid brand grinder for years until it finally died on us. Bought a small commercial grade grinder/stuffer to use & it's just too big when we're just making up some breakfast sausage or small batch sausages. We use the big one for our large kielbasa making that we do every December when we process upwards of 200 lbs of sausage in bulk & links. However, I still like the little one for smaller breakfast link batches or to make up some summer sausage links for the grill. Although I haven't used this grinder yet, I'm pretty confident that, based on my long-time use of the original grinder & going over this grinder carefully, this grinder will work just as well as the more expensive name brand one. Plus, it fits my standard KitchenAid mixer perfectly! Please note, it will NOT fit the KitchenAid mixer with the bowl lift. I have both standard & lift so tried it on both of them since I hadn't notice our old one not fitting both styles. Definitely a difference now (my original standard was over 40 years old when it finally died so bought a new one a few years ago).

Assembles easily and works as advertised. Will follow up if it quits but we don't use it often (so why spend more?)

My wife has had to start a special diet due to digestive issues. That has resulted in not being able to buy most sausages in stores because of the ingredients. I got this set to go with our KA mixer so I can make our own sausages and control what goes into them. This fits perfectly and works great. Now I just need to find more sausage recipes for her to try.

I recently purchased this to start grinding my own meat.... WOW! What a huge difference it makes compared to store bought ground meat. This grinder is extremely efficient, and comes with multiple different sizes as well as sausage stuffer attachments! This is also extremely easy to clean!! Definitely not going back to store bought anymore! Highly recommend this!

This grinder attachment is great for making ground meat like pork, beef and veal. The attachment fits on the Kitchenaid mixer. The attachments includes 4 grinding trays: coarse, medium, fine, shred and two blades. It also comes with a plunger, and a cleaning brush.

I wanted to be able to make my own blends of ground meats for meatloaf and meatballs. This attachment for my KA mixer is perfect. It allows me to grind up the meat combinations that I want to use in the exact amounts I need. Everyone should have one of these if you do any kind of sausage or ground meat recipes.

This replaces the plastic one that we’ve used for some time. It is so much nicer! It fits the Kitchenaid well. The machining is good. It’s a good weight and feels and looks well made. Love that it comes with two sizes of sausage stuffer and cleaning accessories. The plate is nice and large. We’re looking forward to using it this winter to grind our own meats and make breakfast sausage.

This set is lighter than I expected, making it easier to use. It fits my Kitchen Aid Mixer perfectly and comes with several plates for different tasks. I especially like the sausage stuffers. It is easy to use and the instructions give all the information needed. It also comes with a good brush to clean it easily. This will be used often.
