Once they are assembled, these are beautiful high quality display gift boxes: the cardboard is thick and sturdy and the slide-on transparent plastic "envelopes" are also quite sturdy and yet still very clear. Assemble is not difficult but does require some careful effort to press the cardboard folds neatly (which can be done ahead/forming all boxes at once) and then the transparent envelopes arrive as just a stack of flat thick plastic that you need to prepare individually by first finding the edge between the two sides of each envelope sheet and sliding your fingers in between to open them up--and then you hand crease them as you slide them over each, all with care and patience. The result is beautiful and they made the perfect display for my decorated Valentine cookies as gifts for friends and family. They will be great for similar food gifts of Christmas cookies and fudge at the holidays. Highly recommend as long as you can be patient with assembly: I'd rate a 4 1/2 if there was such a "excellent but with caution" rating, so I'm rating 4 stars as I wish that the envelope sheets were pre-creased so they'd be easier to work with.

what good is this if it doesn’t come with the clear lids???? Why would it show a video to remove plastic off clear piece if it doesn’t exist??????

This box is great for fitting chocolate covered strawberries or other similar sized treats. The clear sleeve makes the treats stand out and it's easy to assmeble.
