Not the fastest SSD, but for a cheap upgrade to an older computer for casual use cases, these are fine. Clients are always happy with the performance improvement. I've probably bought a dozen of them and 0 failures across several years. You have backups anyway, right? Note: if you need good sustained write performance for larger file writes, look elsewhere. But if you're doing that, you probably aren't using a 10 year old computer anyway. Now that older systems that didn't have NVMe are mostly getting retired as they probably aren't Windows 11 capable, these inexpensive SATA SSDs might become less popular. But when paired with whatever your favorite Linux distro is, for under $30, you can make even that old system feel fast again.

For the price it’s a solid ssd. You’ll get what you need from it. Extra storage cheap.

I bought this SSD to bring my retro arcade machine back to life. It runs on a 4th-gen i7, and the system now takes about 30 seconds to reach the login window and another 10 seconds to log in. The performance is acceptable for what I need, and overall it’s a good value for the money.

Not the high end fullest of drives, but good for replacement of spinny drives on older machines, especially laptops that don't use NVME drives.

This hard drive has worked well for me; it meets the requirements for what I bought it for.

Good disk and reasonable priced. The 5 year warranty - compared to the other similar priced disks, make a huge difference for me. If a company does not stand behind their product with a good warranty - why should I buy it?

Fixed my mother in law's laptop with this drive. Almost doubled her capacity over the failed 128Gb SSD it replaced. This made sense at the price point and for the application ; I'm sure it's not anything special but at least it's marketed under a respected brand...
