Q: Does it matter on which side you mount it? I see everyone using the right side, but I would feel more comfortavle using it on the left.

It matter not on which side you mount it. Just make sure that if your computer has a powered USB-C cord you will be fine, if not, you will use two cords: one for power and the other for the display output. It's a great looking screen too.

Package Includes: 1 x Monitor Screen 1 x Type-C 3.1 to Type-C 3.1 Cable【power supply and video transmission function】 1 x Type-C 3.1 to USB2.0 【Power Cable】 1 x MINI HDMI-Compatible to HDMI-Compatible Data Cable【 video transmission】 There are two ways to balance: 1. If you want to use a single line to connect the display screen, your notebook needs a type c interface. (the package comes with a Type-C 3.1 to Type-C 3.1 Cable with power supply and video transmission function) 2. If you don't have a type c interface, you need to use two wires attached to the package, mini hdmi-compatible to hdmi-compatible data cable +Type-C 3.1 to USB2.0 Power Cable

Q: Can i connect 2 of these to the same macbook pro m1 max laptop?

With the ease of connection, I don’t see why not if you have the ports.

Q: I had to get a new computer and need a new adhesive pad can this be replaced?
