I initially thought the smell was kind of funky but as soon as you apply it and let it sit and mix with your natural smell/other perfumes it smells so amazing. It also lasts very long and has powered through my heavy sweating while doing cardio and cycling classes. The bar soap is lovely and i feel so clean after using it. Compared to my dove unscented soap bar I feel like it goes on smoother and washes off softer. The liquid body wash is definitely a travel size and I have not used it yet because I just use the bar soap along with my native liquid body wash. The cream might have a slight tingle/burn when applied on sensitive areas but eventually goes away the smell for that one is also long lasting and doesn’t leave residue on any clothing.I have VERY sensitive skin and none of these products have resulted in any kind of adverse reaction. I enjoy the smell but I would warn anyone who wants something more subtle and to buy a scent that you have more perfumes that match it. For example if you wear lots of florals get the peony floral scent and if you wear more clean scents the lavender sage would be good. If you have more musky/vanilla perfumes like me I would recommend the toasted coconut. I say this because you WILL be able to smell it when wearing with your other perfumes. However the toasted coconut has a strong vanilla undertone and the coconut is not as prevalent after long use so I can use perfumes with vanilla undertones like Ariana Grande pink cloud/the light pink sol de janiero and I feel like they go well together. Also I see a lot of people say the wipes are easy to break but thats because they are flushable and break down in the waste system which is true for most if not all flushable wipes. They work well and I wish it had more in the package but it fits well in my gym bag. Overall a great purchase with great value for money and I might get the lavender sage one in the future.

I love Lume I have bought this 4 times already and while it doesn’t stay fresh for 72 hours . The 48 hours it does stay fresh is enough for me all the other deodorant claimed 48 hours but they never last but a few hours this actually last two days for me maybe 2 1/2 so it’s almost to the 72 hour mark. I really like the fresh Alpine smell in the tangerine. Toasted coconut smell smells nice 2 put the other two on my top 2 . My pastor who is in a wheelchair uses this and it is really good for people who don’t have a lot of mobility. He uses the men’s version. I bought this for my husband as well and he loves it too. I would not buy this at Walmart. It’s too expensive. Find you a deal on the Lume site or on Amazon.

I bought the unscented kit. The kit came with everything unscented except the deodorant wipes. These are cucumber scented. They smell good. I am using the deodorant cream and the soap.The UNSCENTED deodorant cream smells horrible. Makes me nauseous. The bar soap is ok —similar to IVORY soap bar though it feels softer on the skin.UPDATE:I got used to the unscented deodorant smell. It doesn’t smell bad after application. I love the body wash. I don’t use deodorant everyday or I just forget. Sometimes I stink and I smell bad for days. The body wash takes that smell away from the skin. It really takes it away!

Been using Lume for 2 years now. It works, and works very well! It does have a bit of a tangy odor to it, but the odor will one hundred percent diminish in less than a minute of applying to your skin. My body chemistry changed after menopause; I can literally shower and scrub my armpits for 10 minutes each with dial gold ( my favorite antibacterial soap for fighting odor) and within 15 minutes of drying off post shower, start sweating because of hot flashes & smelling hints of BO. It's all to do with the PH of your skin, and no amount of antiperspirant or deodorant is going to prevent the BO from developing. The Lume body wash is beyond amazing as well. It cleanses & primes your skin and prevents the bacteria that are in the air from colonizing on your skin and taking over. Lume deodorant by itself is amazing...but paired with the Lume body wash it keeps my skin clean and fresh to a whole new level. Not only love these two products, I am THANKFUL for them as well!

I have been using Lume for over a year now and can't imagine why I would ever go back to what I used before.I LOVE this product because it works. I don't know how it works so well. I just chalk it up to magic, and I'm ok with that.I have tried the Fresh Powder scent, Toasted Coconut, and Peony. Of those initial products, I liked Peony scent best. Toasted Coconut was too nutty for me, but it wasn't bad. And the scent goes away after 30-60 minutes anyway.I bought more on Prime Day, and wasn't sure what scent to get so I read through the comments. Boy, that was painful. I simply don't understand why people hate on the scents as much as they do. After 30 minutes of reading, I was really hesitant to try a new scent cuz all of them had at least one terrible review. I decided to get the Tangerine and Lavender/Sage; thinking I would return the one I didn't like since they both had reviews ranging from extreme hate to love of these scents.They arrived today and now I can't decide which one to return. I love them both! The Lavendar/Sage is lovely and smells like I just left the spa. And the Tangerine is wonderfully citrusy and fresh, which is perfect for summer. And then again, it doesn't really matter since the scent fades anyway. I may just keep them all. But what would I do with all that deodorant? After all, I bought 2 mother-load variety packs that came with body wash, soap, and deodorants of every type. Since I doubt anyone wouldn't appreciate a gift of deodorant ... I can't really gift them. The struggle is real.
