Handles are separate. At least they were when I last ordered them, which was about 2 years ago.

What’s the resistance level of heavy cable?

the black extra-heavy tubing is rated about 80-100 lbs. of tension. I believe the grey heavy tubing is rated closer to 60-80 lbs. of tension.
