Great little portable USB hub with a long cable.
Tired of short short cabled hubs only meant for laptops. This USB A to USB-C/A hub supports 2 USB-A ports and 2 USB-C ports off of a single USB-A port with 3 1/2 foot cable. It claims to support USB 3.2 10Gbs per second standard. I didn't test that super fast functionality. It did detect down stream hubs and flash drives connected to the ports. This particular model does not support the USB PD power pass through, but it does provide a USB C port on the bottom designed for 5V input to help give a little extra power to devices that need it, such as USB hard drive in enclosure. This port mimics the the barrel connect that some old hubs used to have to be a self powered hub.

Small, lightweight, and has worked without issue so far
Light and small enough to stick to the underside of shelf above my computer with alientape without issue. Even though this isn't what I thought it was (I thought it was the hub+2.5gbit ethernet adapter), it's a good hub, and will replace the hub function of my current hub+1gbit ethernet adapter). Of course, it's hard to really assess a hub this soon. Typically my problem with hubs has been the astonishingly short lifetime, rarely exceeding 6 months, sometimes failing within weeks. So time will tell. Have yet to test with vUSB devices; I am assuming this will be unsuccessful as usual with USB3 stuff

Does the job and is well built - but lasted for less than a year
Update: Hub no longer works properly. will charge items i plug into it with no problem but will not transfer data from USB drives any more. I have tried connecting to 2 different computers and 12 different flash drives of all types but as soon as i transfer data it disconnects (with nothing else plugged into it) This is pretty common with the cheaper hubs. I was hoping this one would be different. it was a good hub while it lasted I needed a small USB hub that i could attach to the side of my desk with some double sided tape. This one seemed to be what i needed so i purchased it and am VERY happy with the quality and speed of the device. The ports all provide the speed advertised, the case is sturdy and construction quality seems spot on. the cable and 5v port aren't perfect for my needs, but there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to things like that so i do not consider that something to ding this hub for. Overall it was a great choice for the money with no downsides that i can see

Great tool for the job!
This is a perfect laptop 10gb hub. Lose 1 usb-c, but net gain of 1. Plus 2 standard usb-a 3.2, and 1 usb-c power charger, which should seldom be needed. Adding the small form factor is perfect. Got a free hub with the laptop, but it's only usb-c was a charger only, creating a big issue, consuming my only usb-c data port, leaving no usb-c port. Got a 2tb external ssd (also a good idea/buy). It plugs into the new hub as desired and I can use the other features (memory cards reader,usb-a ports) of the free hub as well, if ever needed, which I doubt. All have tiny footprints and I put velcro it on the back of the case for convenience, lid opened or closed.

constantly fails to be recognized by computers
this would be a great deal if it actually worked, instead, it constantly fails to register with my desktop, my laptop, and my work laptop. Initially I thought it was my peripherals, once I realized it was the hub it beyond the 30 day return window.

Great hub
Super useful. In a world where most USB hubs are garbage, this one really is Gen 2 on all ports and just works, no random disconnects or any of the other usual plagues. I actually use three of them - one for each of my USB-A ports. They all work fabulously.

It really works!
When one 10GB/s drive was connected I saw read a d write speeds of between 980 and 1010MB/S. As another drive was added, if they in operation at the same time, each drive had speeds in the 450MB/S range (which is what you would expect if the device was multiplexing its I/O correctly. My conclusion is that this is the real deal as far as 10MB/S hubs go.

Usually works great, but one example had a semi-defective USB-C port
I tried two of these of the 2 x USB-C + 2 x USB-A type. One works great. But on the other, one of the USB-C ports is wonky and did not connect bi-directionally, that is, it would connect with the connector facing up, but not facing down. So just try all your ports in all orientations when you get it and return if necessary. Otherwise the device is very handy and seems roughly just as fast as plugging each USB device into a separate port on my computer when it comes to transferring many gigs of files.
