VMD 16 Hygienizing Bottle Spray for Air Conditioners, 400ml Volume, Black

One of our AC units had got that sweaty sock smell that is a sure sign of mould in the unit. I bought this based on the good reviews, and after a long delivery time (not a problem) used it.In use, it's a bit fiddly - the cleaner foams excessively, and the tubing you get has a nozzle which increases this. As such it's almost impossible to get it to go properly between the fins of the condenser. I gave it a thorough coating though and pumped loads down the back where it should be able to expend into the fins more. The product smells quite nice if a little sweet, but first impressions were really good.We've used this unit at least a few times a week as it's in a spare room we use as a home gym, so gets a decent amount of use and so shouldn't be going stale too quickly, but after just over a month the unit has started to smell of the mould again, and just as strong as it did before the application.I've got a feeling this product is no more than a short term deodouriser and doesn't actually kill off the mould that causes the smell. Either that, or the lack of ability to get it right into the fins means it can't work properly. Either way I can't give it 5 stars for that reason.There's enough in the can that I've been able to give it a second dose however, so one can will maintain a unit for a number of months, but expect to have to keep applying.

Our AC had a mouldy musky smell when we turned it on and we were desperate to find a cleaner to get rid of it. After watching a review with a man casually spraying the foam onto his AC, we were convinced that this is what our AC needed.We have tried another spray before that said it was a spray and wipe thing, and it did nothing. We had high hopes for this one and it did not disappoint.After one application we still have more than half a can to do a few more applications.

This product definitely works. Removed pollen filter and sprayed directly on ac cooler. Closed the pollen filter hatch so foam can not escape and left it for a minute or two and then put ac on and fan to max. Repeated couple of times with hot and cold setting. And it definetly did its job. Nasty smell is gone and I still have half of bottle left. Recommend.

Arrived on time and takes seconds to spray on to condensers and makes the air smell fresh

Arrived quickly and does the job. The scent is a bit a bit sweet. Effect lasted about a month before I needed to re-apply.
