Word Cloud Classics: Horror Collection

Beautiful and exquisitely detailed set of classic horror literature! I bought this after seeing a very similar set at Cracker Barrel for $20 more. And I actually like this version better - it’s more colorful! There’s a little bit of redundancy between “Classic Horror Tales” and “Selected Works of Edgar Allen Poe” - 3 of his greatest hits are included in both collections. I just wish there was a little more Lovecraft (only 2 short stories in “Classic Horror Tales”)! The external page faces have been stamped with a purple and green classical horror motif, the spines have a different pattern and red foil letters, and the covers have been stamped with words excerpts from each book as well as the title in red foil. This set is beautiful from all angles, no matter how you want to display it.

I have not read these particular copies but have read all the books before. So I can say the stories are great and they look so awesome on my mantel. The feel of the covers is soft and pliable so I don’t foresee any real damage being done to the spine when reading. I highly recommend!!

I really can't say how well they will hold up, but these will mostly likely get read through 2-3 times each at most, so feel they will be good for that. They look very cool on the shelf, I took them out of the cheesy cardboard display.....they are very soft, durable covers, great design and artwork. Can't wait to get reading some of these classics I've always wanted to! My only minor complaint is that the Poe book is much lighter that the others, doesn't quite blend as well, but very cool cover as well, and for the price, very happy overall.

I bought it as a gift, but she already had it. So I kept it for myself! I love it. Packaged great, and they are beautiful!! Wonderful addition to my home library!!

Absolutely love these books. Only thing is it was kinda bent but that’s okay. Definitely a great present for myself. Loved reading all these books.

great book set, I gave 4 stars because it was poorly package which resulted in one of the book dented and bent, it wasn't that bad so I decided to keep. book set is definitely worth the money and I like the flexicovers, I would just package these different in the future when shipping.

Classic reading. Nice quality product.

Wonderful editions with thick paper and soft, flexible covers. If you have very poor eyesight or dislike small fonts however, I would suggest other editions. I found a few minor spelling mistakes so far and some textes are revised. I especially like the edged in quotes on the back and front. Binding could be a bit more flexible for comfortable reading, but it is a minor tidbit. Luckily the pages are binded securely. I value that more. And the spine propably wont get cracks due to material choice. For 50-55 euros very well worth it if you intend to read most of them. Not sure I will read Brother Grimms, but Horror Tales has a surprisingly good choice of authors. Worth to keep an eye out if world cloud classic boxes are on sale. Sometimes classic boxes suffer from really thin, seethrough paper or have even been edited a lot. The cardboard box is mainly good protection for the delivery. You will propably throw it out. I got the set with the coloured edges and I love them. The books feel nice too. Can be kept in the box or on the shelf. Quick delivery and safely packaged.
