Mark the position of the puncture on your tyre and remove the object that caused the puncture. 2. Cut one end of the strip into oblique mouth and put it through the aperture hole of the insertion needle, make both ends of the strip length consistent. 4. Run Flat Tyre Life-Saver
Just bought a car with run-flat tyres so there's no spare tyre. My new Mini Countryman informed me of the drop in tyre pressure before I set off from home. I knew the tyre hadn't been driven with a flat tyre so the tyre wasn't damaged by driving. 3 days before Christmas and there are no garages that can fit me in. I remembered I'd bought one of these kits for my Son last year and it worked very well on his normal tyres so I ordered one same day delivery. I consulted the internet about repairing run-flats. Turns out they can be fixed if the repair is on the tread (if it's the side wall, you can't fix). Anyway after brushing soapy water onto the tyre I found the hole with a small piece of metal stuck in it which I removed (so you need to get pliers). I screwed in the supplied filing tool and carefully filed the hole until it wasn't so tight (I bent the tool slightly first time because I pushed too hard so you need to gently screw in the file until it can be more vigorously filed). Then using the needle tool with a repair string attached (after liberally dousing rubber glue onto it which you can get from cycle or motorist stores) I gently pushed the string and tool into the puncture hole. Pushed it in until there was a bit still showing then pulled the tool out of the tyre leaving the repair string and rubber glue in the tyre. Job Done. It'll get me through Christmas at least. I drove on it an hour later. Set my car run-flat sensor up again and so far it hasn't detected a drop in pressure. This kit is great but you do need pliers and glue..It's now 6 months later and the tyre is still fully inflated. No loss of pressure in that time. A very good purchase.

Easy to use. Most importantly it works.
I was sceptical when I got this. The instructions mention vulcanising fluid (glue) but there is none.I’d used a can of tyre weld which had failed already. This thing worked a treat. Travelled 16 miles and after a couple of days the TPMS sensor showed no drop in pressure.Tyre is now fixed permanently and this is in my tool kit permanently.Only niggle, the instructions aren’t right for the kit. Mentions glue where there is none.

Easy to use even for a novice
Had to use this straight away and while it does take a bit of welly to get the noodle into the tyre (watch Youtube to learn how to use it) it did the job and I, as a complete novice, repaired the rear tyre on a VFR800 in under 20 minutes. While I still need to get it checked, it is easily good enough to get me home and not stranded at a roadside waiting hours for a recovery vehicle. I have since augmented the set with a CO2 tyre reinflation kit to go under the seat and a small torch should I get caught out in the dark

Extremely sticky little devils!
I was very unsure that this products didn't need vulcanising adhesive. After speaking to the supplier, apparently the strings have already been coated in the glue. I feel that this might make them very difficult to use because at present they are terribly sticky. Perhaps the advert on Amazon should have made it clear and not leave it to the photograph.

Good puncture kit, enough to get you out of trouble at roadside
Purchased after using a friends kit to fix puncture on my BMW GS , just in case. Well that event happened again with another puncture 2 weeks later. It worked a treat and twenty minutes later, compressor on tyre done, very effective and lasted until tyre replaced a week later. Excellent price and easy to use, if caught out at roadside and if safe to do so, can be done and back on the move in short time. My only suggestion, add a head torch to your kit, you will need both hands.

Why have I been wasting my time and money...
For years I've been paying over the odds and visiting my local tyre repair centre, NOT ANY MORE. If you're not afraid of getting your hands dirty and a bit of shoving and pushing then buy this now. You need to be a bit rough when cleaning out the hole and the plugs are a bitch to get in - I've found it easier to keep the tyre inflated when trying to push the plug into the hole - otherwise the tyre flattens and the hole seems to pinch shut - but once the hole is plugged the feeling of smugness is overwhelming.

Weak tools
The tool broke on first use I needed to find pliers to pull the metal tool out of the tire!..the kit works but keep extra tools in your car if you have a flat and need to use this

Great bit of kit
Had a set similar to this and was pinched out the car, so bought this one. Its just as good as the other one and a third of the price, a must have for the boot of the car.
