Just wow…so pleased!! ALSO see bottom about replacement steps I took!!!
I’m beyond pleased with this product! Let me get to specifics:I began an espresso kick about a few months ago, and learned all I could about what it was and how to make good coffee. I have a delonghi stilosa machine, this is a pressurized espresso maker. This means that most espresso fanatics consider it “not real espresso” which I understand. I’d do some looking and researching to learn why but basically it isn’t as strong or as true to the flavor. Either way, I love the machine and wanted to get the best out of it I could. One big thing with espresso and strength and flavor is the beans and freshness, as well as the grounds and when they were grounded up.I had an old little 20 dollar grinder from years ago, and it worked decently well but it didn’t really evenly distribute the grounds, meaning there were some too fine and some chunks. When it comes to espresso this is not good, it will cause the hot water to not distribute evenly and mess up the flavor, not to mention channeling (the water tries to find a way out and goes through the areas it can and makes an uneven coffee). So I wanted to start investing in my own grinder. I don’t know about you all, but when it comes to amazon or any other purchase, I always go by the reviews and the ratings. I look for products in my price range and then search for ones that have the most amount of reviews and the highest star ratings. I will almost never choose a product with less than 100 reviews. Honestly ones less than 500 often. I found the “sowtech conical burr grinder” with 38 precise grinding options. It had 55,000 reviews if I remember right and about 4.5 stars or so. It cost about what this machine did. I was excited, and I truly felt it had a good amount of praise.I have never had a product fail so miserably in my life! I almost cut my hand trying to attach it’s bean holder, I couldn’t get it back on but when I finally did, I started the machine and the coffee grounds were so horrible I was shocked. I had it on espresso fine settings and that thing made coarse grinds, chunks of beans, and some powder! Awful. So I started my return process and looked again. I found this machine and saw only a few reviews but it really had all the things I want from my grinder! And price is super good for a specifically espresso grinder with 51 settings! I took a chance. So happy I did!!! The coffee grounds are perfect and even and it is absolutely incredible how easy it is! I think you should also definitely keep it clean and maintain. Also, sound is not terrible at all in my opinion. Touch screen is gorgeous and super easy. And it has an attachment to push your portafilter against it and let the grinds right into it, or even a puck to set the portafilter there and let it fall in! Also not to big or bulky and very beautiful.I highly recommend this machine and hope it works for you too!REPLACEMENT ASSISTANCE!!!-So my cat decided to knock the grind chamber (the plastic container that the grounds will grind into) onto the floor. Totally my issue not related to product malfunction! I went kind of searching to see if I could buy a replacement somehow and actually the only way I found to see about replacement parts was the Shardor website. I emailed them! I figured I’d just have to buy it. I even told them it was my own fault! I sent the email about my product model #, order image ( screen shot of the amazon purchase info), and then the specific part. Unbelievably, they emailed me right back within I think 2 days! They said we’ll just send you a new one for free and asked my address! After I responded they replied within I believe another day and said it could take 20 something business days, but it only took like 9! Not even business days, like 9 total days!!! I’m in awe! They were so kind! Obviously this part is most likely a cheaper part, just a plastic container. So I don’t know how it would go for other pieces but wow!!!!

Quiet, Quick, Clean - Update After 9 Months: Still Happy
I'm really impressed with the quality of this grinder. We have used the small burr grinders for years and they create such a mess, with static electricity in the receptacle and little grounds all over. This is so much cleaner, with no grounds escaping the drop from the grinder to the receptacle. It's also much quieter than our cheap burr grinders were. My only complaints are that the grinds receptacle is dark gray, so it's hard to monitor the filling and I occasionally have to shake the machine during the grinding process to keep the beans moving.I'm just as happy with this grinder as I was when I originally wrote the review. The disassembly/cleaning process is very easy. There's a locking mechanism on the back of the grinder to remove the bin, and a basket-type handle on the main grinder that you grab and turn to unlock the grinder from the bottom of the mechanism. This allows access to all of the lowest areas of the grinder. All in all, this is a good product. It's worth the money at full price, and a great deal if you catch it on sale.

Coffee tastes better!
I really would recommend this grinder for the price. The first thing I would mention is.It made my coffee taste so much better. I was using a blade grinder before and had never tried a burr grinder.I like that its the same height as my coffee brewer. It also has less static cling when emptying. It can be a little messy but it is easy to clean. During cleaning I find minimal coffee ground loss. I was initially worried that there would be a lot of wasted grounds stuck inside the machine.Speaking of cleaning it is not too difficult to disassemble and reassemble and I clean it about once a week. I've had this grinder for the past six months and I really enjoy using it in the morning. I would also like to mention that it's not too loud, which is a plus.During use I do find that I have to smack the lid a few times to make sure the beans get fed into the grinder. Other than that it is really easy to use and performs a very well.
