bought these for ground cloth and to secure 12V cables for outside lights. VERY pleased, much better than the small ones and actually hold up well

I use these to hold down weed block. These are perfect. I have used the cheap thin ones (bought locally) in the past until I found these on Amazon. Most of our ground has small rocks and sand. The the smaller cheap ones were thinner/smaller gauge and they would bend about 50% of the time when pounding them in. These 6" thicker gauge start to bend once in a while if you hit an un-seen firmly placed rock under the sand, but your rubber mallet will tell you its going to bend before it actually bends. Tap lightly many times at first. Right then you pull it out and move it over 1" and do it again.One time I bought a box of 8" long staples like these and they would start to bend sooner when you touched a rock under the sand.SO 6" staples are the best for me.They do re-straighten easily if you have a small bench vice and a pair of vice grips OR channel locks. I just put all of the bent ones in a bucket and when im done with the job i straighten them all out later in my dry garage. These do rust a bit after a few years because our ground is always wet, we live in a rainforest. Even rusty they seem just as strong when I pull them out and use them again.I HAVE USED HUNDREDS OF THESE!I highly recommend these.

I used these 6" staples to hold down the 6 mil black plastic covering the walkways in my large garden. It also keeps out the grass which is a huge plus. Very easy to install, just push them through. I let 1/2 inch show in order to be able to remove them without problems. I'm extremely satisfied with the staples and have just reordered since I didn't have enough to finish the job. Great product!

We tried many of these types of ground anchors and by chance I came across these and first bought the pack of 100 to try out and it was back onto amazon to order another 200 as they are seriously FANTASTIC. Easy to get into the ground and you know they are staying there. I highly recommend these ground anchors for your garden.

I use these for pegging down garden netting, and also for pegging down ground cover plants so they grow in the direction I want. Also for pegging down strings for climbing plants; just put a loop at the bottom, thread staple through & tie other end of string to top of support you want it to climb up. Easy to use, just push into ground. You can put one over the top at right angles to another in order to get a more secure grip on the ground. Very strong, don't bend easily - could probably bend with a hammer if you wanted to.
