Unlike less expensive chargers Our chargers are rated at true currents, which means they can sustain the rated charging current indefinitely and have the ability to charge at 20% higher current for peak demand. Less expensive chargers are specified at there peak rating but can't sustain that for prolonged periods.The charger will cut in and out causing a slow charge. The charger and switch body is nylon with all nickel plated parts. The weatherproof cap fits into and over the front of the charger to keep moisture out when not in use.
