We've had this a month now and while it took our cat a while to fully appreciate it, it's now his favourite spot. Superbad is 11lbs, and fits comfortably in the top bit, but I think a cat bigger than 12lbs would struggle to lay down there, but could still sit. The other levels are easily big enough for larger cats though. We initially set this up freestanding but it did get a bit wobbly when he was in the top bit, so we positioned it so the "nest" was against the wall for extra stability. The wobble wasn't bad and I've seen worse in other cat trees of this height. The cheaper multi level cat trees also come mostly carpeted which gets ratty looking after a few clawing sessions, whereas this one has high quality sisal the length of the scratching posts, a durable woven material around each level, and fuzzy padded sleeping areas. The top nest has a fuzzy padded bit too, but also comes with a cushion, which we've found he prefers without. He uses all the levels for sleeping, and all the scratching posts, and enjoys biting at the toys while he's having a scratch, but so far it the whole thing still looks new and the toys are intact. Except for where he's enjoyed the occasional chew on the woven parts, particularly at the top which makes it look more nest like! But the material is very durable and the integrity isn't damaged at all. Superbad's only 1 yr old and not an outdoor cat so it took him a couple of weeks to get comfortable going to the top, and coming down wasn't easy for him so we put a chair next to it to prevent him trying to jump all the way down from the top. Chasing a feather on a wand up the tree has helped with that, also becoming his favourite game, and the nest is now his favourite spot for an afternoon siesta.

Very easy to put together and feels good quality. My Bengal cat likes to use its scratch posts. But he doesn’t seem to want to sit on the various platforms. I bought this to replace a old one which he had outgrown in size. I’m hoping he’ll eventually use it. He must be missing his old torn one. The cat tree is in my bay window with a lovely view of the garden. Don’t think he knows what a spoilt pampered puss he is.

I’ve given this 5 stars because it’s the cat’s new favourite place to be. As others have said it is a bit wobbly so we positioned it so the top basket is against the wall, and that means it’s sturdy enough for the cat to leap about on. She’s a small cat (3kg) and seems a perfect size for her - not sure how well it would suit bigger cats. I don’t expect it to last very long though. We’ve had it for a few weeks and the woven basket bits are starting to show lots of puncture holes from being climbed all over. I expect they will fall apart at some point but hopefully not for a while. The plush material has shed some bits of fluff already too though it isn’t noticeable. The scratching posts and dangly toys are holding up well though despite lots of use. Overall really pleased with how it looks and how much the cat likes it, even if we need to replace parts in the future.

Lovely, stylish, cat tree, easy to assemble, looks nice in our room, doesn't take up too much space and our cat loves it.Seems to be lasting well, even when scratched with very sharp claws and climbed on frequently every day

Easy to assemble and it looks nice but my cats have knocked it over a few times. The wicker is pretty but my cats have chewed it. The positioning of the shelves makes it difficult for the cats to move quickly without falling or losing their footing. That said, my cats just love it and fight over the top spot. The extra long scratch post is great for them to really stretch. If you have one cat or cats that don't use it as a catapult like mine do its probably perfect. Its one of a few trees I have in the house and given the price I would expect the base on this tree to be more sturdy, the feet on the base make it wobble on hard flooring.

Our little black cat absolutely loves this tree. It feels sturdy and well made, although a little wobbly on our laminated floor (easily resolved by placing a small mat underneath it). Assembly was straightforward. It took our cat a few days to fathom out how to use it but now she gets in and out of the top basket without any difficulty. She curls up and sleeps in the top basket or just sits in there keeping an eye on the world. It is quite expensive and we were worried our cat wouldn't use it but it is now by far the most used item I have ever bought from Amazon. If this tree should need replacing I would have no hesitation in ordering the same one again.

Avoid this item! Mine arrived damaged from the bottom and I wasn’t happy. I was refunded £30. However once put together the whole thing was very wobbly and the screws didn’t screw all the way in which made a noise every time my cat jumped onto and down from it. Awful service from the seller as I was told to create a return myself and I would be refund for the postage cost. However once the item was returned back the seller kept telling me the same thing (how they would forward the information over to the warehouse and get back to me) no one did so I put in an A-Z claim and got my refund. They ignored me about the postage refund so I had to again reach out to Amazon and now I’m waiting for that to be refunded! To much hassle avoid this seller!!!
