I've been drinking this stuff for a few days now. Another review said it "tastes just like coffee". Well, it does not but, it does have a pleasant taste. Compared to the French Chicory which I also drink regularly, the Roasted Barley is much more mild. You have to use extra barley grounds compared to coffee to get a decent brew out of it. On the other hand, the French Chicory requires less grounds than coffee to make a good cup. This stuff is good, you should try it. Maybe add a few coffee or chicory grounds and mix it up a bit to find your perfect cup. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Have fun.

I've ordered loose leaf tea from this company before and wasn't overly impressed with the cut, but the Krishna Tulsi is by far the worst quality of the varieties I've had. I was shocked when I opened it up and see that it's all finely crushed dust. No leaves in sight. It's not appropriate for a loose leaf brew and will have to be put into tea bags, which is not what I feel is advertised. I bought from this brand because of their gluten free certification giving me piece of mind as a celiac, but I won't be ordering again. There's way better organic loose leaf herbs out there.
