Fantastic solution for a small house
I installed it easily in our guest bathroom. It holds and does exactly what is expected. I love how out of the way it is even when it is set up.

Great for small spaces
Line tension is superb, functional and easy to use. I use this for those machine washable but not dryable items and I love being able to hang them and then retract the line when not in use. This is a perfect solution for small spaces as well.

Easy to install, can tigthen so it won't sag.
I think we've all had those retractable clotheslines that have a huge sag in the middlebecause you can't get them taut. Not this one .. once you flip the "lock" button, youcan twist the dial to pull it taut and you can hang up to 40 pounds on it.It' pretty easy to install, although the size of the print in the instructions seems to befor insects.It's a good product.

Clean and tidy
This clothes line is very unassuming and provides great strength when fully loaded (provided it's installed securely!). Looks great and the only issue was operating the locking mechanism that ones I figured it out, and labeled it, operated flawlessly!

Clothesline body does not fit on wall locking piece
The plate was hard to anchor and the clothesline body will not slide in and lock. Seems like one of the two has some sort of issue with sizing. I’ve tried everything and it’s been a huge pain to try and get locked in and it just won’t. I give up . Worst purchase ever.
