Very cool device.
Gave it 4 stars. It lost one for having a manual that was poorly translated and only slightly helpful. It does 3D as advertised. Cords could be longer. Controls are basic and sufficient. It's actually a great deal for a single viewer who doesn't want to invest in a projector and a screen. It's very comfortable, which is a happy surprise. I could wear it all day. It's perfectly suitable for 3D movie marathons.Edit: This may be the best way to watch 3D movies. For audio, I'm using a top shelf pair of headphones, and because Blu Ray audio is is so good, it sounds very much like being there. This G3Max visual experience is like being alone in a theater, sitting in the best spot in the house, except one is actually in a comfy place at home. And even better than the theater experience, this device fits onto the face in such a way that it blocks all outside light. The theater is pitch black, nothing visible except the screen. Paired with over-the-ear headphones, it isolates the viewer from the outside world. The 3D experience is better with the G3Max than with any other device or system. The bonus of having the tiny screens close to my eyes is that I can see perfectly up close, but need glasses in order to see well from a distance. For me, the Goovis unit allows me to see everything clearly without wearing my glasses. The controls allow me to adjust the picture to an impressive level of clarity. Now that I've watched a few films with my new G3Max, it's become super easy to set up and use. Setting up my projector and screen is tedious and time-consuming, but the Goovis is quick and easy. It's one of my few purchases that I love more each time I use it. I don't care about the substandard manual any longer. This device is too astonishing for four stars. It's a five star unit, for sure. For watching 3D movies alone, all you need is a 3D-capable Blu Ray player (headphones are recommended but not necessary) and this Goovis G2Max. It's way less expensive than other 3D systems, and the experience is much better. You will not be disappointed.

Good product terrible customer service, good luck if you buy.
Good product when everything works. Could use some major improvement on the sound quality. I had poor connection due to faulty cords. Tried to get them replaced but customer service was horrible. They ask for pictures and asked questions but did nothing and stopped communicating. If you get this better hope everything works as it should. Won't be buying more for the business.

Incredible display! Better than the Apple Vision Pro
The media could not be loaded. I own both the Goovis G3 Max and the Meta Quest 3, and while the Quest is great for VR, the Goovis absolutely outshines it when it comes to screen quality. This isn’t a VR headset—it’s a personal home theater with stunning clarity that even surpasses the Apple Vision Pro in terms of display sharpness. The image quality is breathtaking—colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and the overall viewing experience feels amazing. For movies, gaming, and YouTube, it delivers an unparalleled experience. One thing I want to note is my experience with the corners and pupillary distance. Depending on how the pupillary distance was adjusted, especially at the higher end, it seems that the corners of the screen were harder to view. This was surprising, but not a deal-breaker at all, and I’m still not sure if I just have something set up incorrectly. If you’re looking for the best screen for entertainment without the distractions of VR, the Goovis G3 Max is the ultimate choice.

Picture quality and Portable Media Player SD card function
The picture quality is superb but there was a hiccup with a portable player. The portable player was supposed to be able to play media files on micro SD card but my unit wasn't able to do it. Here are the list of problems.1. The unit requires a file manager app to navigate SD card but no mentioning about it in the manual or website.2. It was keep trying to install app onto external storage rather than internal storage. Even though internal storage is the default location per the seller.3. Don't format and erase a micro SD card through media player in order to make "external storage" and thinking that you could copy files onto it with our pc. Your pc won't be able to recognize the card and it will be wasted. So I have contacted the seller for the issue. It took some time to resolve it but it came through. The trick was factory reset. The seller responded with speed.Overall I am happy with the result.I'd highly recommend this product.

Better than the Apple Vision Pro for viewing content and gaming.
I bought the Apple Vision Pro for watching movies. The AVP wouldn't allow me to play my own content, they gave me eyestrain headaches and they were crazy uncomfortable. I returned them and bought the Goovis G3 Max instead. Problem solved. They're comfortable, the color and clarity are stellar and the 3D is just as good as it was on the Vision Pro - but without the discomfort, eyestrain or headaches since the Goovis is lighter, has a better head strap and has interocular and diopter adjustments. I can also plug these directly into my phone and they work perfectly. I've also used them with the SteamDeck, Switch and Playstation. All things the Vision Pro couldn't.
