I break the e-string the most and I have been buying the complete set to get the e-string. I have a lot of the other strings. This is only the E string. You get 5 E strings for under £4 as I write. They seem as well made as others I have used. They work perfectly well. Great value for money E strings. Well pleased.

Very good value for money, hard to get so many for this price. However they seem to snap quite easily, already have used 2 so far, will see how long the rest last

I only buy spare top E strings from Tone Deaf Music. Good quandary great value. I use them for replacing my sitar sympathetic strings too!

There were 2 guitar shops near where I live and 1 of them has recently closed down. That is the 1 that I used to buy my strings from and they were generally good strings which would last a while. So I was forced to purchase from the other shop but unfortunately these strings must have been bought in cheaply because they were so poor and broke within a few times of playing the guitar! The E string is the thinnest and I'm a pretty heavy-handed guitarist which leads me to breaking them more than occasionaly. I decided to look elsewhere for strings and tried this website as I know Amazon has a very wide selection of products. I came upon these strings and thought I'd give them a go. Well they are really good value for money and I'm glad I purchased them. I've played my guitar many times since putting these strings on and they work like a treat! They are a good thickness, fit really well with the guitar and they haven't broken yet. I now have 4 more strings for backup but hopefully these will last me for a while. They come recommended from yours truly!

The thinner the string, the greater its propensity to snap. These 9 gauge strings are OK, and slipped into a gig bag or case, will give you some reassurance, that if a string breaks you have a spare. These came individually cellophane wrapped, so you can do that with some confidence that the string will also remain fresh.
