As thick as this textbook is, I'll be surprised & disappointed if it's not an exhaustive companion to the sw package. Looks like some great material and an easy read. I'll update this once I make some headway 🔆

I’m nothing more than another guy trying to break into the cybersecurity roles. Kali is very helpful to know. If you are just starting out, I would suggest this book! It’s on my desk at all times for reference.Best of luck.

I was excited to see that Glen's Kali Linux book covers an extensive range of topics. I was particularly glad to see the legal aspect of ethical hacking been addressed as most books do not touch on this. There is a methodical way of teaching every topic in this book (this also comes with picture guides, making it user-friendly). All in all, if you are looking to start and advance your career in Penetration Testing with Kali Linux, Glen's book is the best starting point.

Recently I've had the privilege of getting my hands on a digital copy of "The Ultimate Kali Linux Book" by Glen D. Singh and I must say, it is really well done!Glen covers many of the topics, tools, and techniques you need to know when getting started as a penetration tester and the book acts as an handy reference guide for those skills until they become a part of your personal working skillset.There are also plenty of detailed notes, steps, and visuals to help you be successful when you put your hands to the keyboard.If you're new to hacking and/or pentesting then this is a must-have resource for your book shelf.

This book is really awesome. A lot of pentesting books overload users with jargon and overlook the steps needed to accomplish tasks and use pentest tools. This book ensures that the reader is fully able to grasp the concepts related to Cybersecurity and the steps involving Pentesting. It does this by using very simple definitions and analogies. This book was written from a student-oriented perspective, guiding you step by step through setting up your own pentest lab and how to use popular industry pentest tools. This book is recommended for anyone interested in cyber security whether complete beginner or expert.

if you are looking to learn kali linux this a superb resource, but there are a few things that are outdated, such as links that the book claims to be a free resource which are actually a pay to use resource. the command line commands are very well laid out and this book does go in depth. great place to start cyber security

The quality of this book is great in every way including the print quality, paper and artwork quality, and the binding. It feels solid like a good quality (and expensive) school textbook.Content coverage is extensive probably unmatched by anything I've seen in print so far.Of my large collection of hacker and computer security references this the most impressive in regards to going from zero to hero in a single book.Most of the books I buy are good books and worth the money.. this is a GREAT book at a level of learning you just don't get often enough in books.
