This is exactly what I wanted. I simply want to avoid inadvertently turning on/off what is wired to the wall switch. As adults only are in the house, this is no problem. The plate attaches with two magnets, not screws, so a curious toddler or youngster would likely be able to remove it, exposing the switch.

This was used to prevent a hidden/blind adjoining light switch from being turned on. It has worked wonderfully for that. The magnets attach it to the screws yet can the cover can be easily removed as necessary. Made of a clear plastic, the look is acceptable in all situations I can think of. It prevents unwanted switching yet can be rmoved without tools. A good find and great product!

I bought these for the pre-k sped classroom I work in where one of our students loves to turn the lights off! Now he can't turn them off! Was perfect!

Works well and prevents the switch being inadvertently turned off

These are a great concept but not necessarily what I was looking for. I was trying to find a way to prevent my toddler from flipping the light switches on and off to lights that aren't meant to be turned off like those that are attached to Smart light bulbs. However this is only held down by magnets and they're not very strong a simple swipe of a 2-year-old's hand knocks them off with ease. I would definitely recommend if you have a similar situation to get something similar to this that screws in rather than held on by magnets.

Magnets are strong and they fit nicely for boxes that have two or more switches together. Clear blends right in but people won't hit the wrong switch by accident with these installed. Comes off easily if you need access

I was looking forward to using these switch locks to prevent switches from being turned on or off but upon opening the package for the first time both switch locks had a large crack in the plastic running from top to bottom due to the plastic material used was very thin and unable to last. Very disappointed with this purchase

I use Hue dimmers, but people inadvertently hit this "master" switch, rendering my setup moot. These provide a simple solution, and they don't require installation because the magnets stick to the screws attaching the switch plate. Fits perfectly for these wide switches, and they are fit for function. Being magnetic, they can be placed and removed with ease.
