When Tarot Meets Shadow and Sensuality
I made this selection because the visual presentation hinted at outstanding quality. By my reckoning, I was right. What I didn't know until receipt of these beauties is that these cards would not only engross the divining reader into the circumstances of the query, but also draw both seer and querent into the dream world imagery of the Sacred Kingdom so aptly named. This Tarot set literally pulls you in whether you like it or not, the magnet that it is. The set creators have a highly refined sense of phantasm, so much so that the deck evokes foreshadowing, fantasy, foresight, and one of the strongest impressions of bonafide optimism simultaneously no matter the query outcome. The quality is superb, and the physical presentation of the deck and each card offers a matte reflection. The card edges are as black as the chosen stock yielding a firm statement of the deck’s intent – that the business end of Tarot is ultimately truth no matter the revelation. The drawings and imagery are attractive, and the diversity and bestiary of the card participants are a welcome and thoughtful touch. Out-of-the-box shuffling is smooth and feels natural and comfortable like good love. One almost wants to preserve the deck by not touching it, let alone using it regularly for clarification of life’s mysteries. Thoroughly resist that temptation if you feel it and do what you came to do. Allow this deck to impress, disclose, speculate, and captivate. I just might buy a second deck and leave it virginal into perpetuity.

Buy two just in case!
Beautiful high quality cards/deck. Beautifully made with an equally high quality, visually appealing guide book! Love that they added some additional cards, makes the deck a little more special!

Beautiful!
How have I never seen this deck before. I LOVE it! It’s so beautiful. I bought on a whim. I usually steer clear of dark backgrounds but I really liked the images so I went for it and so so glad I did. Gorgeous box and perfect little guidebook with color images and paper resembles parchment in keeping with the theme. I will likely buy a backup or two.

Something Special
The artwork is a bit dark on this deck, but I like that about it. It gives me a feeling of relation to the deck that I can't quite put a word to. Mysterious/magickal doesn't quite do it justice. It is also true that, for example, the three of cups card doesn't have any cups on it, and the others are the same...instead, each card has a unique image that represents it, which is atypical, but I find very nice, and definitely gives the whole deck kind of an other worldly feeling. Also, the reading I did on myself with these was directly on point. I am so drawn to these cards that sometimes I just like to look at them and touch them, and feel like I need to always keep them close by. This deck is definitely unique. There is a booklet included, which is easy to read, there don't seem to be any typos on the cards, and the deck box has a barcode, with website listed, which appears to be a publisher. There is only one error I have discovered so far: in the booklet, the description of The Emperor says he is "standing", however, on the card, he is sitting.

Beautiful, but not the same as Rider Waite.
This deck is absolutely stunning. Its sturdy and shuffles well. I agree with most of the other reviewers in the fact that the cards are positive and they seem to work well. However if you are looking for traditional, this deck is NOT it. The meaning and descriptions of the cards are not like the original Rider Waite cards. There are no reversed meanings unless you assign them yourself, and they can come off as more vague. Also if you look at the images, you will notice that they are just really beautiful images. There are no similarities to the suits. You can not tell which card belongs to a suit because the images do not depict wands, cups, swords or pentacles anywhere on them except in the blue foiled name. Again this deck is amazing, just not for those who are traditional and prefer the traditional style and readings of the Rider Waite deck.

Reflection
I really like this deck. The colors of the cards are deep for me which allows me to instantly connect and understand each message. The designs are beautiful. The quality is good because the stock feels sturdy and not flimsy . Shuffling is easy and the price is reasonable.

My favorite tarot
It is dark, but the vibe is calm and enchanting. Good quality. I enjoy my readings with it and the guide book is my favorite one. I recommend

I wanted to love this deck...
The artwork in this deck is gorgeous with brilliant colors and evocative imagery, exactly what you would want in a non-traditional tarot deck. Sadly, I ended up donating it because it simply didn't work in low-ish lighting (in my bedroom with two table lamps and multiple ceiling lights on). Some of the artwork is bright and large scale enough to work (The Chariot, for example), but a lot are painstakingly detailed and too dark and small scale to read without holding up to your face and squinting, which is not exactly conducive to the intuitive tarot reading experience. I would only recommend if you read in bright task lighting situations...
