Works Perfectly, Ignore "Drift" Reviews
I'm very happy with the accuracy and refresh rate of the scale. The two tone LED color scheme is a nice touch. I also like that the silicone cover is well-affixed to the scale and won't slide around. I only wish the scale came in white! Don't be fooled by other reviews. This scale doesn't "drift" any more or less than any other scale. Those people who say otherwise are likely storing it in a very different temperature environment than their use area. See photos for the test I did with boiling hot water in an uninsulated carafe. 0.0g drift on all tests, with or without the silicone protector, after several minutes of letting the carafe sit on the scale surface. The only time I experienced measurement drift was when I got the package from 30F freezing outdoor conditions, unboxed it and tried it out without letting the scale warm up to ambient. The measured weight slowly dropped until it warmed up to 70F room temp; since then it's been rock solid. That is totally normal for any scale that any manufacturer, cheap or expensive, makes. It's just how this kind of scale works. Overall if you're looking for a nice scale with timer functionality, I highly recommend the Greater Goods scale.

Been working well for over a year
Had this for over a year now and no real issues. The only issue I can think of is that if something is a bit too close to the scale, the scale can fluctuate a bit by a gram or so. Just make sure nothing is touching it, especially anything electronic. Beyond that, it's a no-nonsense scale that works great with actual tactile buttons. Its refresh rate can lag behind a tiny bit, but you get used to it by stopping your pours in anticipation. For example, I typically do 300mL pours in total, and I usually start slowing down/stopping at around 280g. Battery life is pretty good, but the battery life indicator doesn't do a good job of letting you know when you need to replace the batteries. So you may end up with it powering off mid-brew, but I've only had to replace the batteries once despite daily use over the past year or so. That being said, it's useful to also do stuff like the 4:6 method based on water level vs timer too. I'd also say it may not be extremely accurate as sometimes it fluctuates by .1 grams, but it is accurate enough for practical purposes. For reference, .1g is simply ~1 coffee bean, and unless you're an espresso perfectionist, 1 coffee bean isn't going to make any real difference. In summary: + Just the essentials if you only want the essentials + Tactile buttons + Display is pretty nice + Accurate enough for practical purposes + Battery life very good + Will work for at least a year, can't say any longer until I own it for longer + Great for the cost = WIll not refresh weight as quickly as say an acacia scale which costs at least four times as much, easy to compensate for - Battery life indicator isn't great, so it may power off mid-brew every half year or so - Sensitive to adjacent electronic devices, 1 or 2 inches is enough distance - Sensitive to adjacent objects, be mindful of anything that is touching the silicone, even if it's barely touching by a hair

Outstanding scale
The design and materials make this scale perform perfectly for coffee preparation. Genius. Accurate, easy to read, no lag in the display. Love the ability to tare with my glass carafe weight, then give me tenths of a gram readings adding in the coffee. The timer is good too. The kitchen scale is been wishing for.

Precision and Style for the Perfect Brew
This scale has become my daily companion for brewing coffee. The precision is excellent — measuring down to 0.01 oz really makes a difference when dialing in espresso or pour-overs. The built-in timer is a thoughtful feature that saves me from juggling my phone while brewing. I also love the “Blue Stone” color — it makes the scale look modern and different from the standard black kitchen scales. The surface is easy to clean, and the buttons are responsive but not overly sensitive. If you’re serious about coffee, this scale strikes the perfect balance between professional accuracy and everyday usability. Highly recommend!

great scale (read tips for its super sensitivity)
in hopes this will help anyone else who bought this scale- this thing is super sensitive to vibrations. if your scale is getting off calibration for seemingly no reason, make sure the sides and the back aren’t touching anything else and that the bottom is on a flat surface and it will fix it entirely, trust me!! but aside from that, this scale works absolutely perfectly. it’s just the right size for my morning coffee, has great battery life, and is really straightforward to use. plus the silicone top makes it really easy to clean and looks nice on my countertop. the timer is super convenient for making coffee, this is an amazing scale for this price point

Best coffee scale I've tried
I’ve tried several scales across a range of prices for my coffee setup, and this one checks all the boxes when it comes to features for the price. The size is just right to fit a six-cup Chemex without blocking the display. The screen is large and bright, and the two-tone color is a nice touch. Accuracy is on par with other scales I’ve owned, offering 0.1 g precision with less fluctuation than even some more expensive models I’ve tried. One major plus over competitors -- physical buttons. Most scales in this price range use touch-sensitive controls that are extremely fiddly and can even trigger when water drips on them. The Greater Goods scale uses good old-fashioned, clicky buttons instead. My only real negative is that the scale isn’t rechargeable and requires three AAA batteries, so long-term cost and environmental impact are worth considering.

Great for the price!
This scale has exceeded my expectations for the price. I don’t have a standardized weight to verify its true accuracy, but when testing with objects of known weight (such as nickels) it seems to be spot-on. While it’s not exactly “lightning fast”, it’s still quite fast and very easy to adjust to without overshooting when doing things like making pour-overs. It’s a very “no frills” type of scale, which isn’t a bad thing. I had considered getting a fancier scale with features like auto-taring and such, but it’s not like pressing a tare button a few times is some monumental task. Other scales have features like flow-rate indicators but I have found that once I dialed in my pour-over technique, I don’t really need that as it would have really only been helpful the first few times using it. Outside of coffee, this is a really nice complement for my kitchen scale (MyWeigh KD-8000). My kitchen scale is great for bigger tasks like measuring out large amounts of flour for bread making, or for heavier tasks like for when I’m weighing ground meats and such, but it’s not so great for those times when I need to measure by the gram super accurately, however the Greater Goods scale works perfectly in this situation. I have tested things like slowly weighing baking powder and the Greater Goods scale easily detects it by the tenth of a gram, whereas the MyWeigh scale will show 0 as I continue adding baking powder and suddenly shoot up to something like 2g. Both of these scales together complement each other’s weaknesses.

Ok scale, questionable accuracy
Battery indicator not correct, I bought fresh batteries and the indicator did not change. Vibrations will change reading. I weighed a grape. It weighed 7.5 grams, going to 8 grams, as my dogs walked around my feet as I was weighed the grape. Causing, a slight vibration in the floor as they walked. The grape finally settled back to 7.6 grams. Accurate it might be close. If you are looking for 100 percent accurate, this scale is not. I am learning to make espresso and got the scale for measurements of beans and end results. It will likely be ok for me. Next time I will try and find a more accurate scale. Buttons are nice and easy to use. It is a very simple scale, easy to use. It has a timer on it. For the amount of money, I was hoping for more accurate. That is why I did not get the cheaper scales.
