Lasmex On-Ear Heaphones

I bought these slightly over a year ago and have been really impressed. For the price these are the best headphones I have ever bought.Most importantly, they sound great. I'm no hardcore audiophile, but they sure sound good to me. The sound is clear and rich across the spectrum. The bass is crisp and powerful without overpowering the other frequencies too much. It can be heard even at low volumes, and if I turn it up high I can feel it thudding in my ears (though of course I advise against doing this for prolonged periods). The cups do a decent job of blocking out some of the outside noise too, which helps. They aren't completely noise cancelling but I can still hear my music on a noisy tube train without having to turn it up much higher.They are also the most comfortable headphones I've worn. The adjustable band should fit all but the largest heads just fine and the padding on the cups means I can wear them for extended periods without any discomfort to my ears, which is a first for me.In terms of looks and design, I like them a lot. They don't look like super-expensive designer headphones, but they don't look like cheap crap either by any means, with a nice sleek design and good looking materials and finish.They come in a nice little case, though I personally have never used it. If I'm not keeping them on my ears or around my neck I'm the kind of person who will just fold them up and shove them in my bag or coat pocket. In this regard they are surprisingly durable despite the lightweight design. Some of the glossy finish on the outside of the cups and band has scratched off but this doesn't bother me and is entirely my own doing, while the sound has never suffered and the folding joints remain completely intact.They also come with two detachable cables, one with a microphone and volume buttons. The coating on the cables stops them tangling up which is a nice touch. It might just be me, but there is a notable tendency for the cable to catch on something and get pulled out at the headphone end, but this is still much better than a fixed cable where being yanked like this would eventually render the whole headset unusable. As it happens, after a year of regular mistreatment by me one of the cables did stop bringing through the right side channel, but thankfully this did turn out to just be the cable when I switched to the other one. The only downside is that the jack on the headphones is 2.5mm rather than 3.5mm, so they cannot be used with regular double-ended 3.5mm cables and if the other one goes I will have to purchase a new 3.5/2.5 one separately. However, this is a pretty insignificant issue overall.In summary: great quality headphones for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them for anyone who loves listening to music but doesn't care deeply about branding or taking good care of their worldly possessions.

**UPDATE - Left ear stopped working after 4 months of light use. I guess you get what you par for** I seriously don't think a better pair of headphones exist for £21.99. I bought these on the basis of the good reviews here as a cheap pair of headphones I can leave at work.First things first, they are budget headphones so don't expect the quality of a £300 of Bose wireless fancy doo-dahs. They will not revolutionise your music listening. But they do outperform many many other headphones in the £30-50 price bracket.Pros- Amazing sound quality (for the price). It's a pretty decent overall effect - highs, mids and lows all distinguishable. No tinniness at all.- Comfy - I've been wearing them for hours at work with no probs. Does not interfere with my glasses. Ear pads are comfortable.- Minimal sound leak - you'd have to play at the very top volume for sound to leak out. They are not noticeable even in quiet rooms- Folds well and fits nicely in the caseCons- The bass is deep and does not distort easily which is great.. but it's not quite loud enough to be immersive, if you're listening to trancey techno or something. I can put the bass up manually I guess on my devices I guess.- They are not the sleekest looking things! But fine for the price.- If you're on a loud train or around machinery, the sound does leak in a bit, which also contributes to the loss of immersiveness.. but hey, these are £21.99 headphones, can't complain! It has to be pretty loud for you to notice, but I've had other (more expensive) headphones that block out more sound. It doesn't bother me too much though.Will be interesting to see how long they last - so far two weeks in and build quality feels ok.

Well built headphones and great value for money. I like the design and they make the headphones look more expensive than they are. Good bass and decent sound quality. Squishy soft padding. The only reasons why I decided to return was the cable is thin and grippy. It gets tangled easily and I know I'm going to yank it out from under the contents of my handbag and the inner wires will soon break. I know I can buy a replacement cable but I much prefer noodle or flat cables and I found the headphones a bit painful and tight to wear after a short period of time. Aside form these issues I would have loved to keep them.

Well I must admit these took me by surprise. firstly the build quality and accessories first class. I am by no means an audiophile and I have bought far more expensive head phones than this in the past, with poor sound delivery. just cant believe how good these sound and look for a £21.99 price tag. some say base heavy not really in my opinion. yes there is base there and I feel in the right quantity. I listen to a wide variety of music and the tracks that are base loaded shine through and the tracks that are not the base loaded are just right. everything in between is crisp and clear. in my mind at this price these are a no brainer purchase.

Audio quality is good, nicely packaged and with two sets of three different sized pairs of buds to choose from should fit most. Unfortunately I seem to fit between the medium and large buds but they still fit well and give good sound, just not the in-ear completeness I would like. Microphone is OK but often need to be positioned closer to the mouth for callers to hear me properly.

Absolutely amazing value. Fantastic sound for the price. Superb design and very comfortable.Comes with a useful carrying case into which the earphones fold - very useful to avoid damage if you're carrying them around - as i do - in a backpack when commuting & not listening. Another great touch is that the jack and cable is detachable not hard wired into the phones. A spare jack and cable is also supplied. As the jack has broken on literally every set of earphones I've ever bought - and is usually hard wired into them, rendering the phones useless this really is an exceptional product for the price
