Once you get the hang of it, it's very accurate, good for what you're paying (even though you are paying a lot) and performance is pretty good.but there are two things i'd say. battery life isn't perfect but if you charge it daily, it should have more than enough and it can take some fiddling to figure out and you have to keep it on the line so really good for someone who's dyslexic but probably not for someone with a kind of visual impairment

Very pleased with it and it really is a great aid when abroad

Bought this to help my daughter who has dyslexia - however it made a multitude of errors when converting spoken word to text, and when scanning. It reminded me of automatic subtitles on the news - lots & lots of mistakes.It was very difficult to work out how to use it, even with the instruction book.We did manage to find the left handed mode - which would have been great, if the other features had worked satisfactorily

Reads too slowly to be of much use to someone with dyslexia. If only it could be speeded up more (you can speed it up but not enough).

This is a Dyslexic pen reader. If you are unfamiliar with these, it is a device which enables the user to scan and highlight any text (both tight text and handwritten) which then appears on the screen of the pen and be converted to speech.It’s like a large pen with a built in screen, yes, it still manages to be portable and compact, and can help support anyone who struggles with dyslexia or other literacy based learning difficulties. It works well and so far has had a 100% success rate in correctly reading text and converting it to speech, with no errors of miss pronunciation.This has internal storage so you can save text and audio recordings, and is really simple to use. It does seem rather expensive, and you don’t feel initially that you are getting a lot of product for your money, however, if you suffer from dyslexia this can be a godsend and well worth the money.

We bought this for our granddaughter and she cried when she first used it 😀 she couldn’t believe how wonderful it was.
