A symbol of classic mediterranean style, the Dali is available in a vivid range of colors and is a staple of every endless summer. Eccentric artist salvador Dali used to wear espadrilles while meandering the streets of his hometown barcelona. What better name for our most traditional espadrille shoe

Soludos are My favorite brand of espadrilles!
I would normally buy a 9.5M woman’s, but when they aren’t available an 8M men’s also fits great! In fact, I think the men’s sizing is a bit wider so actually fits me better. I think Soludos are the best espadrilles. They are extremely well made and comfortable so I usually purchase several pairs at a time.

I Felt Young Again
I was watching a dude on youtube who reminded me of Don Johnson back in the 80s. Miami Vice was a popular show back then. Don popularized espadrilles during that time period as well.At any rate, perhaps I got hit with nostalgia; or perhaps I just wanted to feel young again. I decided to buy a pair of espadrilles. They arrived two days later. Fast delivery. I opened the box and the aroma brought me back to my youth. When they’re brand new, they don’t smell like ‘new shoes.’ They have their distinct aroma that no other shoes have. But I would not recommend sniffing them after you’ve worn them for months. (That would be gross.)Moving on. When I first put them on I was like, “Wow. These are super tight!!” Then I realized there was a cardboard lining inside. So make sure you take these off. I wore them around the house to break them in. I walked around the living room like Billy Badass, like I’m some kind of hip detective. I wish I was able to go outside. But it’s January and the snow is thick where I live. I will have to wait til it gets warm to wear ‘em outdoors.Overall I am very happy with the product. I plan to buy another pair in the near future. I’m thinking leather this time, to match my leather pants and fedora hat.

Fun and Easy to Wear but Do Not Last Long
I love these and buy them every summer but they get beat up so fast and take on every mark, scruff, scratch etc...they are not expensive so it is what it is.If you get them wet like wear them during rain or wet grass they will get ruined and shrink. Be advised they must stay dry or you will be buying another pair!

Love Soludos (but price increased recently)
I really love these Soludos. I've bought many of the same pair over the years and swear by them. Usually I buy an extra pair for when my current pair wears out, which will often happen if you wear them in very wet conditions. Then they harden up a bit. But I think they recently increased price from around $40 to $75 and at that price, they are close to losing my business, but still pretty worth it. On the fence if I'll continue to buy at $75/each.

Perfect Summer Shoes
I wear this Soludos style in Sz8, men’s. These espadrilles fit my 9.5 size foot. If you like espadrilles, Soludos are the best quality, with classic styling. I have my (Amazon mark-down) pair for next summer.

Be very careful to order much larger size than you normally wear.
This shoe runs extremely small. I cannot even get half my foot in the shoe that is my normal size. I returned the shoes very easily andordered an entire size larger shoe. It arrived in the exact time Amazon said it they would arrive. The second pair of shoes also areextremely tight. I think if I wear the shoes a few days I will stretch the shoes enough so that I can wear them. I do not recommend theseshoes to others since it is not possible to try the shoes on before purchasing them.

Look good but that's about it
They look stylish and I was initially pleased with them. However, I soon realised that despite the length being true to size, the toebox is too narrow and rather misshapen for most feet, mine included. They are also uncomfortable; I would have expected at least some form of canvas lining for the sole.I raise these criticisms as someone having spent many hundreds, (if not thousands) of hours wearing Espadrilles (or as we Brits call them, 'Boating Daps'), on account of their ability to handle water, and for their simple comfort when pottering around the garden or making a short trip out somewhere. (e.g. Shopping, meeting friends etc.) Alas, I will have to invest in getting my usual pair from a UK source, knowing that they will be canvas lined on the sole and have a more normal sized toebox.

Great-looking, comfortable, but frustrating design
Bought these shoes because I was looking for a TOMS alternative (I HATE the soles of Toms for their lack of support and grip and the fact that I feel like I can feel every tiny stone beneath my foot). The shoes are very attractive and have a rustic character, allowing them to be worn in dressier situations, for instance a beach wedding. They also have a supportive rubber sole that is thick enough to feel like you're wearing a shoe rather than a slipper, and they are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The issue I have with them, which I consider to be a major one, is in the design quality. First the rope outer on the soles has frayed a lot more quickly than I would expect, leaving loose, twine-fiber-like threads hanging. Also, the shoes are the correct size and fit great once they are on. However, the upper material is like a canvas and there is no give or elastic panels to assist in putting them on. As a result, within the first dozen times of wearing them the stitching at the corner of the toe box ripped while putting one of the shoes on (the other one is still holding, but seems like it will rip soon). I will note that, being aware of this design issue, I was attempting to be careful when putting them on and not wrenching them onto my foot. For both of these reasons, the shoes look a little shabbier than I would like and don't have the snug feel that they originally did.All in all, I like many things about these shoes, but the quality issue leaves me unable to recommend them. Hopefully they alter the design with some elastic, in which case they would be great.
