Southwest Specialty Products 80001S Fossil Candle Safe, Burgundy

A sticker on the bottom hides the safe opening. Not sure how it will hold up to being removed to stuff the inside. I like that it hides it but not if it cant go back on. Also- the sticker says it cant be removed for the candle to work- which seems kind of silly- but hopefully snoopy family members or robbers wont read the whole warning label and see its tongue in cheek

I really like the design, it's extremely discreet and you would never guess there is a "safe" in there! (The inside looks just like the inside of a can of soup). Well I moved with it and there are cracks and crumbly spots. I was so careful with it too, wrapped it tight. It's not mega durable but if you purchase it then don't really move it you should be just fine. I plan on buying a new one once I'm settled in a permanent home and done moving.I liked this design instead of the ajax canister or coke cans because if I put money in something like this, chances are no one will accidentally throw away a candle..but they can accidentally throw away all the other hidden safes. I'd be sick to my stomach if all of a sudden my cash was thrown away!

I ordered it a few weeks ago, it arrived damaged and unusable (no way to open it, chunks missing revealing the compartment) but the second one was shrink wrapped and also wrapped in cushion so it was in excellent condition and AWESOME!! I love this thing!! It’s extremely well disguised. Great product, just has to be shipped with care.

I've been searching for this exact candle for years! I used to have one but lost it when I moved. Let me tell you, NOONE will know this is really a stash candle. The awesome thing is that you can even light it which adds to its inconspicuous nature. If your in need of a seriously great hiding spot than this item is for you. Good amount of space to stash items too!

This item looks just like a wax candle, in the color shown. It is actually shorter and wider than what is depicted in the advertised photo but I like what I received. Hopefully, no one will realize what it really is and, although it doesn't hold much, it works for my purposes.

A decent product that gets the job done. Perfect size for cash, keys and personal items. It's basically a tin can covered in an inch of a marble like wax. I tried lighting the candle to give it a more used look, but altho the wick will light the wax doesn't melt well. The lid has no notch so if screwed on too tightly it will be really difficult to open back up. I would def recommend this to anyone looking for this type of safe.

Love, love, love this candle/ safe! Absolutely no one would ever guess that it's not just a regular old candle. I did what some other reviewers suggested, I lit the wick, so it looks as though it's been used. It's great for cash and keys, but I will say, I was disappointed that it won't accommodate credit cards. If it was just slightly deeper and wider, credit cards would fit right inside. Other than that...it's perfect!

I just received my candle and although it is exactly what I was expecting, I wish it wasn't all chipped and damaged. I would not display a regular candle in my house all banged up like this, so it defeats the purpose of disguising it with other regular candles. Just fyi, the candle has a bad , strong glue odor. im hoping it goes away. Bottom line, I'm very angry that my candle is damaged, see pictures, and won't be able to display it and use it.
