3lb Booming Grains

I've grown gourmet and medicinal mushrooms for personal use for a few years, but I've always sterilized my own grain mixes (with wildly varied results, I must add). This was my first try with a pre-sterilized spawn bag and I was initially skeptical from reading the reviews, but new issues with finding bulk grain in my area pushed me to have a go. I bought one bag and inoculated it the same day. A week passed with no visible signs of contamination or mycelium, so I tried another few CC's of spore fluid. Another week passed, nothing. I was ready to contact the supplier until I checked the bag a third time and lo and behold I have mycelium! And even better, still no signs of wet rot or contamination, so I know the grain as well as my spores were good quality. I intend on purchasing from this vendor again soon and trying their other products. One thing I feel I must mention for anyone else reading these reviews and thinking about buying some of these bags; the tape over the selff-healing onjection port is supposed to be on there. Somebody complained their bag tore when they tried to remove it, and I almost tried the same thing... The bags are fine as they arrive, save yourself the hassle and just inoculate and set it somewhere dark and warm. I expect my future purchases will be equally satisfactory.

Amazing products, just wow. I've grown 3 of these bags for monotubs and just like their all-in-one bags these grains are perfectly hydrated and have the best conditions for mycelium growth. I've learned to wait a week after receiving grains to see if mold grows because no matter how great the seller is during shipment the bags can get damaged with virtually unseeable holes causing contamination. Anyways, the very first bag I got from them I was waiting on genetics so I didn't inoculate it for a week and just as I went to prep the bag I saw mold. When I reached out to Howard he immediately sent a replacement. If you're looking around wondering which seller to choose, just stop here and give it try. You'll be more than pleased.

Not very impressed with the product. Very wet and gone bad. Injected a week ago after sterilizing every thing very carefully, and bad results.

Came fast, seems very professional honestly for what i paid in blown away! Also the cards it came with says they will replace bad bags due to their fault or basically yours bc they will replace contam AFTER innoculation!!! Thats fantastic! I ALSO GOT A STICKER I LOVE WHEN COMPANIES DO THAT! I can just tell these guys care wish i could rate higher but yeah def recommend so far ❤️❤️ esp for this pric3

Excellent substrate for your fungus cultivation.I wasn't seeing results in colonization and thought the grain may have been the culprit. Perhaps too dry. But following an educating discussion with the seller it turned out to be bogus spores. The seller sent a replacement immediately and included a source for real spore syringes. The grain is now almost fully colonized about ready to fruit. Good product, great advice a top tier customer support. You can count in this seller to get the results youre looking for.

Great customer service with high quality products!

I ordered 2 grain bags and inoculated both with fresh Liquid Culture under a flow hood in the most sterile conditions. After 32 days both bags have no more than a 1” diameter of growth and then petered out. Unfortunately the return window to notify the seller closed after 30 days so I’m hoping maybe they see this review. If they make it right I will update the review if not heed the warning.
