Q: can I use 200 grit al2o3 to sandblast a 5mm surface at 100 psi for 10 seconds with this?

You sure can! I use it to apply stucco to large house exterior walls. It clogged at first but once I cleared out the jets with a good sized drill bit, it’s better than new. I’m don’t baby my tools. I never clean it. I just let it soak in a bucket with the trowels and knives and it still works great! A+++++

As far as I can tell, there’s no difference. An hp cs Eclipse is an hp cs eclipse. I know a number of people with this airbrush, and they are all the same, although there are and have been different packaging offers with various accessories.

Q: What's the best way to keep this from eroding?

Do not let your airbrush sit in window/windex cleaner other than when you are cleaning your airbrush. the ammonia within the windex will eventually eat away at the finish leaving potholes on the finish of your airbrush.

Q: Can you use this with canned propellant?

Yes, of course you can. If you don't do that much painting, it's certainly an option instead of buying a compressor, until you can afford one. If that's the extent of your use, you might consider a less expensive brush though. This one might be considered overkill for painting with canned propellant.
