A solid piece.

I have a couple Mexican train sets. One has the button to hear the train noise. The other is a flimsy plastic. This was a perfect replacement for the flimsy plastic.

Mexican train is one of the only Dominoes games that I know of, and definitely the most fun. I have a set of dominoes and this is a neessary addition to ensure a really good gaming experience. Its well crafted and sticks to the table well since they put a nice non-slip pad on the bottom side. For only $9.99 its a steal and a great price for a gift. I recommend this quality piece of wood that only enhances an already great game.

This is a nice wooden hub for Mexican train, but I really wish they didn't include the company name / logo on it. It really detracts from the appearance of the item - it's not going to help with name brand recognition. Without the logo, I'd be happy to gift this to my many friends who love to play Mexican train.

The wooden hub for Mexican Train Dominoes game is awesome! The solid wood looks nice, and it's way better than the cheap plastic hub that usually comes with domino sets. They added a soft felt bottom, which not only protects my table but feels much classier. It's sturdy and well-made, making the whole game experience better. If you want to upgrade your domino game, this wooden hub is worth it – it's both stylish and reliable.

This domino hub is excellent to play with. My husband and I previously used the thin plastic hub that came with our domino set. It's more compact, which is a drawback when working with eight train lines. This wooden hub spreads out the lines better, so we do not have to reconfigure them as often to keep them from running into each other, and the thick wood helps keep the first domino in line in place, so the line isn't shifting regularly. The inset for the starter/center domino offers a perfect inset fit so that the domino is also prominent and stable.The wood is unfinished but sanded well, with only one rough spot on the hub we received, and that was so minor that it's not really worth complaining about. The carvings on the face of the hub are done deeply enough so that we don't have to worry about them wearing off, and the velvet on the bottom is thick, firmly attached, and provides a perfect cushion to the hub to keep it in place.This is one of those game accessories we didn't think we needed, but now that we have it, we wish we'd gotten it before. It makes gameplay so much easier. We love it.
