Another great entry.
So I enjoy a great deal of this book and series. I have one singular complaint to lay before the author. Please move the story along with just a touch more urgency. There's an excess of what I consider filler in this novel, and the main story barely hit the gas. I want more of the core and his adventures, and less of the tertiary characters spread around. I don't care about Yulian or Bastard at all, they're not the mains, nor are they very interesting when compared to the core story. Those vantages do very little for me and it makes me super nervous that you're pulling that nonsense so many of the bigger authors in this genre do; dragging out a series just to sell more books. I think this is the best dungeon heart series on the market, it hits all the right notes for me. Just please don't lure me in and then string out a halfhearted side story just to have a ten book series. I could be totally off on that assessment, it just makes me super paranoid. So many authors now don't seem to give half a turd about their readers beyond the money they can squeeze out of us. Please don't be like them. If you're not, then cool. Good book.

A pragmatic core gets perspective
Aside from the obvious parts( this is a mix of dungeon builder and sci fi so it obviously includes basebuilding and such), the most important reason for my rating is that the mc interacts with the people around him, learns from them, and begins to appreciate them. This is a major improvement to his character, organically integrated into the story. Ignoring all the other positive points I could raise (solid strategy from the mc and enemy, gaming the system, etc.)this is reason enough for me to rate it wirh 5 stars.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Ten stars !
Only two books in and this is arguably the best dungeon core series I have ever read. And I've read them all, trust me. My only complaint is the lengthy interval between this release and the previous one. Too long Andrew. But I do love your work.In this sequel we rejoin Wynn as he sets up a new dungeon in the wilderness outside the city. Just like the first book, everyone, it seems, is out to get him .... roaming tribes, rival core factions, hired mercenaries, you name it. They start coming for him almost from the get go. And they never stop coming. What makes Wynn different from other dungeon cores you may have read about is that Wynn is a 'technology' core as opposed to the 'magical' cores so prevalent in the genre. Which means that rather than create monsters, he builds machines. And with every advancemenf in !evel, he gets to build even more powerful machines to fight his enemies with. The story is much more involved and runs a lot deeper than I've described it of course. But one thing for sure, this is an absolutely beautiful story. Extremely well crafted. To me it feels like poetry in motion. And my enjoyment of it was immense. Hopefully the next one doesn't take another eighteen months to reach us.

Highly enjoyable
Good read. Really builds on what made the first one a blast. Keeps you tense and wondering how things are going to turn out right till the end.
