I love this product. It allows me to prepare my food products on a clean surface. I no longer have to rewash the counter because someone put something down on the counter between phases of making baked goods. Now I simply need to fold the mat in half when waiting on bread to rise and then unfold to rework as needed.This is going to come into use during holidays as well. I can avoid messes when cutting the turkey and ham and don’t have to worry about juices getting everywhere.May is thick enough to last a really long time. The lip around the edge is perfect to retain a few millimeters of liquid. The bottom of the mat is not sticky, but maintains contact with the counter so it does not slip/slide/move when kneading dough. When done, washed and dried, it rolls up tightly and stores easily to await the next baking adventure.

I use it for making cookies, cakes, home made stuffed raviolis. It’s perfect size for my kitchen table. Won’t slide, easy to clean, keep everything on it, so I’m not afraid of spilling flour and stuffings around table to attract bugs later. Super happy, even gave as a gift to my daughter in law

I bought this to use to bake Christmas cookies this year with the kids. Worked great to contain the mess of flour and dough. Was large enough to have two people work together at the same time, stayed in place on the counter while using, and easy to clean. My favorite part is that you can fold it to store it when not using and it’ll lay flat when you want to use it again. The old plastic baking mats my grandmother and mother used always rolled up because they would roll them to store when not in use.

Used it to cover my glass cooktop. It's more useful than a plain cover. It's also nice and thick and came with a little flower fastener to hold the mat when it's rolled up for storage.

I am an avid baker and for years and years just used my counter top (floured) or one of those plastic mats with diameter markings (that NEVER stay put) to roll out dough. I ran across this by accident and decided to give it a try.What a game changer! Absolutely a dream for rolling out pastries, bread doughs, pie crusts ... you name it! No sticking, no sliding mat, etc.I wish I had found this sooner. I will no longer grab a rolling pin without this baby.I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who does any kind of dough rolling at any level. Do yourself a favor and purchase one of these ... or purchase it as a gift for anyone you know that bakes. Trust me, you'll wonder where this has been all your life.

The mat is perfect for kneading bread because it is thick enough to stay in place. The silicone surface means that the bread does not stick and clean up is much easier. It’s also good for pastry and fondant. It comes with a pull through tie so it can be rolled for storage.
