Amazon Basics 4-Port USB Car Charger for Apple & Android Devices, 9.6A/48W, Black

This finally fixed the severe lack of power outlets in my cheapo 2017 Jeep Patriot. One power outlet and one usb that's in the glovebox! C-mon, FCA it's 2018 not 1948. To make matters worse the lone power outlet in this thing is so poorly designed and constructed that it won't hold most adapters firmly enough that they don't lose connection going down the road. It's also in a very tight space. You're thinking, Hey, my stuff is charging OK only it isn't since the power connection was lost at that last Michigan pothole. This one fits well enough that it stays connected and it's small enough that you can actually plug it in without banging up against some piece of dash plastic. Easily charges 4 hungry devices at once at a rapid pace of 2.4 amps per usb cord. Doesn't do QC 3 but I don't need that. Moto E4, E5 Play, Samsung Tab 7 and iPhone 6 all at once with all of their screens lit, GPS, WiFi, Cell data and Bluetooth on all get charged at once no sweat. Highly recommended.

I was skeptical at first, but I went with it, why wouldn't I trust Amazon products? As i expected this product is as good and performs as well as it is advertised. Overall, I am happy, I can changed my wireless phone via the wireless charger holder on my dash that requires 10W, I can charge my dash cam and operate it while charging, and charge a 2nd and 3rd phone or have 2 Android tablets charging. All 4 devices that I've tested required a minimum of 10W to charge and they do charge without causing slow charging on any of them. I also enjoy the fact that it does not get hot, there is nothing worse than having your cigarette lighter plug so hot that you can light up a cigarette after using your phone dual charger for 1 hour while struggling to charge 2 phones simultaneously.I recommend this product.

So far it works as expected. It charges our 2 phones as we just NEVER remember to charge our phones overnight for use the next day. We leave it in the car glove box and it has saved us more that once. Glad I got it ! It is something I have wanted to purchase for a while as we do have blackouts in the winter months and we then can charge our phones and (have not tried it yet) but our laptops without relying on our home electricity. I used to have a 2-USB car charger which I lost during my travel. This was a necessity so I jusmped on the opportunity and bought it as soon as I saw it on here. It seems sterdy and durable, but will see how long it will last. It charges my devices quicker than my old one for sure. I used to have my samsung device complain that it was slow charging when it was hooked to the old one, but it doesn't seem to be the case with this one. I am glad it has 4 USB hubs so I can charge more thing at once. Overall it is it is a good product for the price.

Works great to charge multiple phones when the family is on a trip. Not super fast charging, but that's OK, it gets the job done. Even charges an iPad, but slowly.

Great!! Especially if you have a car like mine where you have a ton of cigarette lighter charger areas instead of just being like the rest of newer cars nowadays and having USB ports, or have actual plug outlets, or memory card slots, or whatever else that might be out there. Was perfect to charge all my family’s devices on our way as we headed up the mountains for the day.

We have a pre-USB car with just a 2-outlet adapter and we just needed more places to plug stuff in...with the family on a trip we needed 4 in front and 4 in back:- 3 iPhones and a 2K dashcam- 1 iPhone, iPad, Samsung Tab A, Nintendo SwitchWe used this one in both back and later in front. It handles those combinations fine. I haven't noticed the charging to be particularly fast but it will charge a iPhone X while it's running Google Maps on the commute home (and that's with another iPhone and the dashcam plugged in at a minimum). Mine mounts down low where I don't see it but I still appreciate the basic black look.It's been in daily use for 5 months without an issue.

I have been using this charger for the past 9 months to charge an iPhone 8, a Nexus 6P and a Nexus 5 (and occasionally a guest phone). I has worked great! I use AmazonBasics cables which are also great quality and an excellent price. It's a great deal.
