I purchased these for my son for Christmas, but also as a gift for the family. Reviewers who are saying these don’t stick and don’t fly properly are generally incorrect. You can’t just throw these and expect them to land on the ground with the suction cup properly oriented downward. As the instructions state, you should grasp the dart right up against the rear fins. The throw must be in an arc. It takes some practice to throw properly, but in my opinion it’s what makes this fun. The mechanics are important. When I don’t focus sometimes the dart will just tumble through the air. We play on our indoor hardwood floors. These make a very satisfying thwapping sound when they hit the ground right. If there’s any dust or grit on the floor or on the silicone suction cup, they’re less likely to stick. We make a point of either huffing on them, blowing on them, or even occasionally rinsing the suction cup in a bowl of water before the throw (the water is easily shaken off almost completely into the bowl). The darts typically “unsuck” from the floor after a few seconds, but it doesn’t matter because they stay upright. Sometimes they hold tight though. The lack of predictability of that also makes the game more fun because part of the strategy can be to knock over your opponent’s dart. We’ve been playing this for at least an hour a day. There are all sorts of interesting play variations you can make up. Highly recommend.

Tossit is easy to play and entertaining at family gatherings. You have to practice a little to get the darts to stick, but it doesn’t take long to learn. Once you learn how to throw them the darts stick to just about any surface. But they’re soft so you won’t break anything.

This game is a blast! I love to play Bocce, so it makes sense that I'd like Tossit; even so, the gameplay is fun and accessible to all skill levels. And there's something super gratifying about the *thwack* sound that accompanies a solid throw.The game is also very portable, and both included sets (4 colors + both black darts) fit in a single carrying bag (so you'll even have an extra). I'll definitely be bringing this to many gatherings this season and beyond!

My husband loves playing this game with friends. It reminds him of pong from his college days!

Got this as a stocking stuffer for my husband and it's provided some fun entertainment for super cold days stuck inside.

This game was recommended to me by a friend who has TONS of different types of board games.The premise is basically like Bocce. You have a singular black dart that you toss out and each team tries to get their darts as close as possible to it to get points.The trick is learning how to toss it to make it stick. You might be tempted to throw these like darts like you do at the bar/pub, but the trick here is to grab it close to where the stem meets the rear fins and arc your shot like in beer pong. There is a weighted bulb towards the front that will help it stabilize on descent and stick the landing. You have to make sure you have a smooth surface like glass or a clean, non-textured counter or table top. Otherwise they may not stick as you'd like.This is now a regular in our game rotation as it is very accessible and can be played with a wide arrange of ages. There is also something so satisfying about the sound when you solidly stick it.The units are well made as opposed to many other cheaper made options, but more cost effective than some others widely advertised here on Amazon. They come in a pouch with rules and a QR code for more info on techniques and variations.All in all, a great value for less than $30.

Despite reading the directions and trying these all day they would not land correctly and suck. They are not weighted and do not land correctly. But they do suck

I wanted to like it. The darts don’t stick very well. Even once you get the hang of throwing them, they stick for a second and then fall over. I’d return if shipping wasn’t expensive.
