I am 80 years old - reading smaller print is impossible, even with my readers. But with this 6X magnifier, I can read ANYTHING. And the light makes it even better. It uses 3 AAA batteries, which give a very good light. The fold out handle makes it easy to hold. It's plastic, so it's light weight, and comes with a protective bag so the lens doesn't get scratched.I love this magnifier and the ability it gives me to read smaller print.

This is a thin plastic FRESNEL panel and like any fresnel lens, it yields a somewhat distorted and blurry image. Amazon discription uses the word GLASS many times. Well, it just ain't so.ALSO, the LED lights are so dim (w/fully charged AAA's) that they aren't worth turning on. Judging from the color of the small amount of light produced I suspect they were very cheap.IT'S GOING BACK !!!

You need to visually adjust the lens. The lens seems to have "areas of unfocused spots." Where adjustments are made in one area of the lens effects the clarity in other areas within the window. Glass would be a better then plastic for this product.

The media could not be loaded. It lights up very well, takes 2 aaa batteries.the handle feels sturdy, and the button has a great click to it. not easily accidentally pressed.

Light works fine but the vision is very blurred. I bought two and both were blurry. Will end up in the trash a have one from a different company that I love. These were gifts. I had to by from the other brand as these were useless.

Very good item but no instructions on how to put the batteries in. Took a couple of try's to make it work;

No matter how you adjust this it is not easy to read through. I kept it as I have a world timeline on my wall for which I need magnification to read. This helps ,but not at all like I expected. I cannot recommend it and would never buy it again

Unable to use poor quality. Lense was blurry.
