I always use it at work. I attached one pin to impact driver and second one to hammer. At first, it was a bit difficult to get it out because of the locking mechanism, but after a while you get used to it.

I work in a heavy technical field. I am always working with hand tools and I am always having to find them when I set them down. Sometimes it seems like they just disappear the second I take my eyes off them. Its annoying, when I need my tools I want to have them close. I saw this and thought it looked promising. Attach the knob to the tool and then holster it while having a tool leash attached for when I go up high to work. This thing is amazing, its design is simple and most of all durable. I am usually using a big tool belt to carry tools but this functions best when I just need to do small jobs or not carry so much. It holds my tools right on my hip. I can just clip it to my normal belt and then lock it in to place so it doesnt slip off. This is one of the best tools I have bought, I need to get more of the attachment knobs but this has made my job a little easier.

Only negative is unlike the older style, you can't lock the catch in the open position. It is great to have a tool locked in place when on ladders or in similar situations, but when on a level surface working normally it is a lot easier to not have it locked. But the new lanyard is amazing, I have dropped so many impacts and broken a few, this stops that. And it is long enough that if you drop it, the drill/impact or tool doesn't hit you in the leg like others (obviously a safety concern otherwise).

I like that the lanyard clips on and locks into place onto the belt attachment. I am a commercial electrician and constantly in a scissor lift, boom lift, or on a ladder. My cordless impact kept getting pushed off my hip every time I crouched down to pick up material. This helps with that and is very easy to use. I really like it! I'm going to buy more accessories. Two times my impact fell off the lift from 40ft, once onto the concrete and once bounced off a few items and into a muddy water-filled trench. Luckily Milwaukee M18 Fuel impact is practically indestructible, as it was only lightly dinged up and kept water and mud out, and concrete slurry on another occasion.

I DID A REVIEW ON THE PRO TOOL HOLSTER ALREADY BUT IF U NEED TO SECURE UR TOOL W/A ARREST TETHER OR LANYARD THIS IS THE COMBI KIT U SHOULD BUY W/INCLUDED ACCESSORIES FOR SECURELY ATTACHING OTHER TOOLS & BITS TO USE W/UR PRO HOLSTER. GREAT INNOVATIVE DESIGN.

I have a bunch of their products and this one is the best!

Would not recommend this tool to anyone missing pieces cheap we made contact the company for missing pieces said they would ship them and never seen them save your money and not buy this tool

I like the idea and some of the functionality, but durability and design are lacking. PROS: • Works as advertised • Even works through thinner shirt material(super handy when you need it!) CONS: • The plastic is either too weak or too thin. "Knob" wings broke with very little pressure and the "zip tie" threads stripped very easily. Metal screws and soft plastic are an obvious problem! •Compatibility could be improved • Belt clip is stiff(good) but attaching it to belts or pockets is frustrating (not necessarily due to stiffness, but poor ergonomic design). •"Knob" release on belt clip is tricky to switch from L to R.

Awesome stuff, I keep buying these. Unfortunate thing happed today, I yanked my impact driver on a ladder and Spider’s screw just snapped. Now I have no way of getting the broken screw out of my impact and mounting it again with a new screw.

Very sturdy and well designed. The attachments are tight when pulling out of the holster but seem to relax after use. I really like that the lanyard attachment locks the belt clip so it cannot dislodge from the belt.

When is no alternative this is one

Je suis très déçu de cette article. Je travail dans le revêtement métallique et je suis majoritairement dans les nacelle ou bien les plate-forme ciseaux et j’avais acheter se kit pour sécuriser mon impact. Malheureusement la clip qui s’attache à la ceinture est de mauvaise qualité et c’est étiré dés la première semaine. Le cordon de sécurité ne sert donc plus à rien puisque tout tien sur cette attache. Le concept du support est intéressant quoi que j’aurai aimer pourvoir laisser déverrouillé le support mais se n’est pas possible. J’aurai pu donner une note un peu moins négative mais a ce prix passé votre chemin il y a beaucoup de meilleur solution sur le marché pour moins chère
