First thing that came out perfect, was my kkw body 2 fragrance bottle since i needed a volunteer of my collection to 3D scan. Works like a charm. Needs spray on my Spider-Man masks. Lol cool device.

As someone who is familar with VERY accurate lasers, I was skeptical of this product. How can something this small and inexpensive product a useable product? The software does an okay job of trying to help you through the process, but ultimately the scans will have to be hand edited because they're noisy. If you're okay with that, because you recognize what you're getting out of this, then you're on the right track.

Setup was fairly easy, but the documentation which comes with the scanner is either outdated or for a different model of scanner. It showed diagrams and images which had nothing to do with the product I received (and showed items which my box did not supply). I was able to get the scanner to work with the PC and my phone, but to be honest, I thought using my phone was best.I tried all different settings and distances, used some of the markers to help it pick up on objects which had less features, but it really was wacky how the interface and features worked. It had a difficult time trying to pick up on smaller objects, like figures for my board/table games. The less features on the object, the less accurate the scanner worked.I got it to work, but it didn't do the job for a scanner which was over $319. I expected a lot more right out of the box. I didn't like the heavy cable which is attached to the scanner. It caused the scanner head to move too often because the mount didn't hold the camera in place even after tightening the clamp. I also had issues with the scanner focusing on the object. The few scans that I was able to finish were terrible. The details of the 3D object after scanning was bumpy and deformed.Overall, it isn't worth the $319 price tag.

Way back in 2008 I was working with this startup. They needed accurate CAD models so they could make accessories that would fit specific models. The industrial designers were using calipers and rulers to measure a DSLR and build a model of it in CAD. Then we purchased a desktop 3D scanner. I had been working inthe graphic design field for a decade or so and wanted to start doing more industrial design. It was a small office of eight, so the two ID's took me in and showed me the ropes. When the scanner arrived I volunteered to be the one to learn it, scan cameras, and clean up the scans. The scans were incomplete, roughly surfaced, but the important things were there. That was about it.3D scanners have come a long way in 15 years...I set up the Revopoint Inspire 3D scanner downloaded the app, and plugged it into an Android tablet.First thing I noticed, Intuitive. I didn't have to read a 16 page novella to figure out how to turn it on.I really appreciate that. I prefer fiction over user manuals when it comes to my reading preferences.Set up was simple and intuitive. The scanning process was as well. I scanned the included sample figure and the scan looked like the model was built in a CAD program. Clean, smooth, and I could just slice and print it as it was. Well, I would need to close the "hole" in the base and tip of the head where to scanner couldn't quite see.The included bust for scanning is a matte white figure. That scanned really well. In the real world I put some dry shampoo (it was the only white powder with a pump in the house) on a clear motorcycle headlight. After just two attempts (one I think was user error) I was able to get a scan that was good enough to build brackets around for production accessories.I'm not really a "techy" so I can't go into resolution, capture speed, memory usage, but those specs are on the product page or website.I can say that this little beast of a scanner does a great job scanning. If you can make the object matte white it will scan every little detail. Being able to scan large objects by hand is awesome. You are not limited to small desktop sized objects.Pro Tip: back in 2008 I used spray on unscented athletes foot powder to make the DSLRs matte white. It stuck to the cameras and blew off with compressed air.

Die Anleitung ist auch auf Deutsch im Buch alles zusammen gesteckt Programm im WWW runtergeladen und es Funktioniert SUPPPERDas Stativ ist billig und die Füsse klappen leicht zusammen das ist zu BemängelnBin bis jetzt sehr Zufrieden und kann es für Anfänger (wie mich) weiter empfehlen!!!
