Introducing .NET MAUI: Build and Deploy Cross-platform Applications Using C# and .NET Multi-platform App UI 1st ed. Edition

This book is professionally written and edited. It is logically organized, building one example app from start to finish. Despite the title, the book is primarily about MVVM. The author loves to show off his coding skills taking concepts that could have been shown simply and instead turning them into pages of code. I turned to some very good Microsoft Learn articles to understand MAUI topics the author obfuscated with long detours into MVVM.

I thought the book was a very good read on .Net MAUI and explained the concepts and implementations very well. I thought the author did a good job of taking the reader thru the stages of application creation start to finish. I would recommend this book to anyone creating their first .Net MAUI application.

Die Schrift und der Zeilenabstand sind extra groß gewählt um Seiten zu generieren. Es ist oberflächlich geschrieben. Fast wie Werbung. Ab Seite 84 konnte ich dem Buch nicht mehr folgen. Er schreibt:To do this open a terminal window and run the following command:dotnet new -install Clancey.Comet.Templates.Multiplatform.Was genau meint er mit a terminal window? Probierte verschiedenes. Das Command funktionierte bei mir nicht und das Buch wanderte in den Müll. Schade um das Geld.

This book takes you in easy stages from starting with .Net MAUI to being able to build a complete Multiplatform application. It is easy to read and progressively introduces new concepts, how they are implemented and then how to apply it in real world scenarios.
