I use it in my van when I am parked and it keeps my batteries charged especially on cloudy days and when I'm in the shade

Replaced the original converter on my 5th wheel, because it sounded like a hive of bees.The mounting was an exact fit, so no new holes to drill.I am good with this unit.

The part that plugs in the wall got hot and started to melt and it says 120 volt on Amazon and it’s on 32 volt so it is only like 1200 watts

These are really all the same other than the power output. Find one that matches your power output and look for the cheapest one, they last about 10 years and then you burn another $100-$200 depending on the size. If you look for one that looks like yours, you may even get lucky and some of the mounting screws will match up. A few of them have the dimensions listed, I don't think this one did. If your batteries seem to be running down fast or hooking up to power doesn't increase your battery storage, you may want to check the voltage/amp coming out of the inverter. Check it with the batteries hooked up and again with them unhooked, you can narrow down the problem faster. Good Luck
