Yogi Relaxed Mind Tea

I can not say enough good things about this tea. I suffer from general anxiety disorder and bi-polar disorder. I have trouble sleeping due to racing thoughts and anxiety, but I hate the way normal sleep aids make me groggy the next day. I drink this tea every night and it helps ease my mind and calm my nerves so that I can relax enough to gently fall asleep. It does not knock you out hard, and there is no groggy feeling the next day. Also the taste is very light and pleasant. I would highly recommend it to anyone with racing thoughts at night, or anyone just trying to relax and have a calm evening.

This is my favorite tea and has been for the last year or so. Why? B/c I tend to drink my cup of tea in the evening when I need to wind down from a long, stressful day. This tea does the job. Over the course of many years, I've tried umpteen brands and types of teas that claim to relax you, including chamomile. None of those teas hold a candle to this one. (Side note - if I have a desire for a cup of tea earlier in the day, this is still my preferred choice.) Furthermore, my body is sensitive to tannins in tea and certain parts of my body get very "angry" if I have too much. So, I have to be careful not to have too much of ANY tea, as tannins are in most. My body and this tea seem to get along nicely for some reason. (Maybe it is the Nettle in there.) Another plus is the all-organic list of herbs in this tea. (That said, it has stevia in the tea, as well, but that is not listed as organic. So, I don't know if it is.) Lastly, I personally enjoy the taste very much. (Some teas that claim to be relaxing taste awful. How is that relaxing if you're wincing while you're drinking it?) No, this one is good on many levels, a keeper.

Love this tea, I drink many cups of it a day. I have anxiety issues that I inherited from my mother. I've been looking for a tea that would just give me a little calm and this one seems to do the job. No drowsiness or anything like that just calm. Yogi teas are a solid great company that use all organic herbs and I really like that about them. I've noticed though that I didn't have a great response to there Calming tea. Something in the ingredients did the exact opposite for me and made my anxiety worse. This one seams to be doing just fine though. We all have different chemistry and herbs, like and other med, have different affects on different people, subtle sometimes but different

There's something about this tea... I have it with honey; some of my friends enjoy it plain. When they come to my house now, they always choose this tea from my selection... I am not a tea drinker (being a java junky), but I have a cup of this tea almost nightly now; it just draws me. Also I read that honey has a sedative quality, good for sleeping. This tea is made from 11 organic herbs to relax and soothe. I also must admit to a new OCD (obsessive-compulsive) habit of smelling the envelope after removing the tea bag; it's just such an intoxicating smell. Try it at your own risk.

The taste is good. I add honey. Good for the price if you bought this many in stores it would cost more. Use it everyday

I decided to try this tea because I was running out of the lavender tea I'd been using so far, and this contains a bit of lavender as well. Even though I was a bit wary of buying such a large quantity at a time, I am happy with my choice -- it's a pleasant-tasting, calming herbal tea that's just right for the evenings and winding down from a busy day. It does the trick for me. I've also given a pack of this tea to a friend who enjoyed it as well.

This stuff is incredible and I swear by it. When feeling flustered or anxious before a meeting or presentation at work, I can drink a cup of this stuff and be relaxed and focused for hours. Other people are very impressed. Also helps with writing or working under pressure (not so much mind wandering). Havent been able to find it in stores lately so thank god this is available in bulk on amazon.

Not happy that the shankhpushpi was removed from this product. I think it ruined it for me. Since I wrote the above, I have ordered the product about three more times, trying to give it a fair shake. I have noticed that 2 out of the three 24 pack boxes I have ordered have been very bitter! The quality has tasted nothing like I have been accustomed to. I never drink my tea with sweetener. However, the taste was so overwhelmingly bitter that I had to add some honey. Also, the bags have degraded significantly in quality and have become prone to bursting when hot water in poured over them. I now have to use a filter from an electric kettle in my tea cup as a precautionary measure to stop herbs from escaping into my water (I generally use two bags. Two exploded bags in a cup is a ruined cup of tea in my book). I am quite a connoisseur of good herbal tea. This used to be my all time favorite, but I discern that it has fallen down quite a lot. I don't think I will be ordering another box.
