A beautiful knife!
I love this companies products. I don't think there are too many manufacturers who can compete.

Hard to open
The thumb stud doesn’t really work well for opening. It’s not as good for slicing as some of the other RR trappers.

Thumb stud is a no-go. Avoid this knife.
Overall, this knife has pretty good fit and finish. The open detent is a bit stiff but useable. The problem is the thumb stud. You would need to sharpen at greater than 25 degrees to clear it. 'Not a problem, I'll just unscrew it' you think to yourself. Nope, it either isn't screwed in or is screwed in with adamantium epoxy. Warming the blade to get some expansion didn't yield any results. Eventually the stud just sheared off, leaving me free to sharpen at 20 degrees. I'll probably drill out and tap at some point but for now the knife opens by prying the tip with my thumbnail. Even if it's a defect, it is a very obnoxious one.

Disappointing
The blade is too tight to allow opening with the thumb stud. Oil (KPL) didn't help. Would it hurt you to open the knife before you ship it?

Great inexpensive pocket knife!
This is the third one I have purchased for myself. I absolutely love this knife! I keep giving them away!
