This is a fun brick project way better in person than it looks in the pictures. Super cute gift for my daughter.

This might as well be Lego branded. The pieces fit nicely together.The pieces and instructions are put together well.It was complex enough to require some careful thought. I even had to disassemble it in chunks to correct a single piece I had put in the wrong position.I really liked this. With a love of photography, it was a no brainer to pick this up. Now I see Lego is releasing a new camera creater set Jan 2024. It's a much smaller set without the detail of this one.

I highly recommend making the Table Lamp (Kit # 00398) especially if you like a challenge and a little antique style in your home.The Table Lamp is very beautiful and looks “Tiffany like”. The lights have 3 settings, strobe, flashing, and steady. It was slightly complicated to put together and some instruction pages were duplicated. The kit has 804 pieces; some pieces are very small, and it took me about 4 days to finish.Unfortunately, I did have to take the lamp apart several times to correct the stability and eventually used a leftover piece from another kit. The directions can be confusing and at times hard to follow and I did improvise during the construction.The lampshade was the most difficult. The decorative scrolls were not able to be placed upright, they kept going crooked, so I inverted them on the lamp. I had to glue the decorative tassels because one kept falling apart. For personal reasons I choose not to add the label.I suggest if you’re going to use the included light; you use the yellow support section on the shade and weave/wrap the wire around the ring utilizing the yellow square pieces you attach to the shade to hold the lights in place. Make sure to keep the on/off switch loose for easy access. I did shorten the brown ring section on the top of the lampshade by one notch and it held together much better.This was a challenging project, I would have given it 5 stars, but I’m dropping it to 4 stars because of the instructions and having to add my own pieces for stability.I hope my review helps you.HAVE FUN AND ENJOY MAKING THE TABLE LAMP!!!

This was a really enjoyable project. I use a tackle-like plastic box to sort the miniature pieces. I love categorizing, it is so soothing, it takes me hours, and I love the challenge of putting all the tiny pieces together like a puzzle. My memories of my mom are of her playing solitaire for hours. I think my daughter will remember me late at night after work binging Netflix and “doing my Legos.” Even though these aren’t Legos! So fun and I have stacks of boxes of these off-brand kits that give me so much joy and relaxation.

Do not buy this. While it looks nice, the design is flimsy and not sturdy to hold the lamp shade in place. Definitely not a well engineered design.

Thought this building kit was very cute and original. However, the construction and materials are low quality. In building this toy, I discovered missing pieces and poor instructions. Was very disappointed in the how long it took to finish building and the end result was not good. The design is not stable or sturdy and, if you are not careful, some of the block pieces will pop off whenever you try to adjust, move or fix the toy.

Got this for my son to put on his shelf. He loves it
