Totally Rad 10/10
The Mutant Menace preconstructed Commander deck from Magic: The Gathering's Universes Beyond: Fallout series offers a distinctive and thematic gameplay experience. Centered around The Wise Mothman, this deck introduces the Radiation mechanic, blending mill strategies with counter synergies to create a unique playstyle. 🧠 Gameplay Overview At its core, Mutant Menace leverages Rad counters to mill cards and apply pressure through life loss and board development. The deck's synergy between milling and proliferating counters allows for multiple avenues to victory, including combat damage and graveyard manipulation. ✅ Strengths Innovative Mechanics: The introduction of Rad counters adds a fresh dimension to gameplay, offering new strategic considerations. Thematic Cohesion: The deck captures the essence of the Fallout universe, with mechanics and flavor aligning seamlessly. Out-of-the-Box Playability: Even without modifications, the deck provides a satisfying and competitive experience. ⚠️ Considerations Complexity: Managing multiple counter types and graveyard interactions may present a learning curve for newer players. Upgrade Potential: While functional as-is, the deck benefits from targeted upgrades to enhance consistency and power. 🛠️ Upgrade Suggestions To optimize performance: Enhance Proliferation: Incorporate cards that allow for repeated proliferate effects to maximize counter interactions. Streamline Mill Strategy: Add efficient mill cards to accelerate the deck's primary game plan (Bruvac). Include Graveyard Recursion: Integrate spells that can retrieve key cards from the graveyard, ensuring sustainability. 🎯 Final Verdict Mutant Menace stands out as a flavorful and mechanically engaging precon. Its unique approach to milling and counters offers a refreshing experience for Commander players. With thoughtful upgrades, it can evolve into a formidable deck that captures the spirit of the Fallout universe.

Mutant Menace: "Strong," thematic, and fun!
The Mutant Menace preconstructed commander deck is one of my favorites in the past few years. It is very on-theme for the Fallout franchise -- as it should be, being a Universes Beyond set! It has memorable characters from the Fallout video games, with the face commander The Wise Mothman and alternate commander The Master, Transcendent. Mutant Menace utilizes the new and unique mechanic called of Radiation (represented by "rad counters"). This encourages milling yourself and/or your opponents for great value! The deck also has a +1/+1 counters theme, allowing you to win via commander damage or good ol' fashioned beatdown. Unfortunately, being preconstructed commander deck, Mutant Menace faces the same inefficiencies that most precons do: lack of focus. The deck, as-is, has too many themes that it tries to juggle. One commander cares about giving everyone rad counters, while the other wants specific players to get rad counters to bring back powerful creatures from the milled cards. Additionally, the +1/+1 counters are split between wanting to go wide (lots of creatures) or go tall (one big creature). There is only one card in the deck that helps to regain the life you will inevitably lose from rad counters: Strong, the Brutish Thespian. When Strong is on the field, he allows you to gain life from radiation, rather than lose it. However, he costs a lot and you may not be lucky enough to have a lot of rad counters to benefit much from this ability. Overall, Mutant Menace is still a great commander deck. It is very fun out of the box and it can also be upgraded to really focus on a specific gameplan. Out of all the Fallout precons, Mutant Menace is by far my favorite.

CCG's... CCG never changes...
Gift for my son, and while we ALL love Fallout (so there's some collector value just to have it), he actually plays them and "I" can't stand MTG or CCG's in general. BUT, the cards are nice, references are great and genre spanning, and who can't love DOGMEAT killing all other MTG characters almost instantly (or so I'm told...)

This precon slaps. Great for token generation and legendary creature protection.

Commander
Basic precon, not very good if you're building Caesar or House out of the box but comes with enough to get you rolling and the goodies are cool. The Alternate Caesar art is cool.

Great service
Package came during a snowstorm but was still in great condition no bent edges on the box and no cards were missing. (The art on the deck box is gnarly)
