Bring your tools.
You'll have to break your old Fob apart without breaking the pcb which isn't easy actually. You can reuse your old battery cover with the GMC logo as this ones blank. Fit together nicely, feels good, works great. Doesn't have the soft touch rubber like the oem fob that gets gummy over time so it should last.

Good stuff. Little things that add up when taking care of your vehicle.
Not exactly the same but 99% correct. Old FOBs didn't come apart like the new ones. New ones work and look and feel nice. A little issue with seating one of the chips, but figured it out (bought 2). Good cost for value. All buttons work the same as the old ones did. Recommend replacing the batteries too.

If you’re fob is worn, you need this.
Awesome product, couldn’t read the buttons on my old remote. It was so easy to change the board, now it looks like an expensive total fob replacement.
