Q: Do these boots have a thinsulate lining?

No i believe they are uninsulated. I have worn them in snow and cold weather and as lomg as I was working or hiking my feet were warm with a wool sock. Good summer boot too.

Q: Where are these boots made?

Made in China, but they are one of the most comfortable and rugged boot I have. I believe they are made with good products but by Chinese people. I think you'd like them.

Q: Are these boots cold weather boots

With the right socks, liner and wool, their good down to 15 degrees. The cold doesn't sneak up through the soles. These are good boots, and I live in Montana, so take that for what it's worth, it gets cold here.

They are not steel toed nor do they have the molded in steel toe.
