Great little general knowledge game
My husband and I just used this to ask each other questions on holiday and it was fun and you learn a lot. Wide range of questions for everyone.

Good fun but...
the questions are harder than I thought they would be. It's still good fun to play with friends and family, though. The box the cards come in is compact and easy to travel with. I'm not sure if there are any addons to this game because, like Shot in the Dark, all the cards could easily be read in a few games.

Good variety and quality questions
This turned out to be the ideal Christmas family game. It's about as simple a game as it's possible to imagine and, in fact, you can make up your own rules, as we did. There are ten categories, and we had each person pick three. Each card contains three questions, and in our game you'd be answering nine questions in total. The questions themselves are quite challenging - similar to Trivial Pursuit - and were clearly written for a UK audience, which makes a nice change. There are 700 questions in the box, so the value is indisputable, and the box is small enough to keep in the living room (or caravan) without getting in the way.

Rival Pursuits
There are a few times a year that the extended family get together and this usually ends up with a large meal and some games. This 'Cheatwell Games Quiz Cube Pick n Mix Quiz' is a perfect game for a family like mine that likes to work the little grey cells and they will be worked with these questions. There are ten categories to pick from, but even if you know the subject matter, they are not easy. Think adult level 'Trivial Pursuit' questions. The game is simple, to the point of having no real rules. Just pick question cards from a chosen subject and ask the question. Each card has three questions and answers. For the right family it is fun, but the lack of real limitations or board will not gel with some. It all comes packed in a cube that opens and closes, and is small enough that you can take it with you somewhere.

Fun straighforward game
We had the Pick and Mix Quiz game, which contained a variety of questions along the lines of standard quiz categories. We played it as a family ranging from teenagers to older adults and everyone had fun (with some people getting more competitive than others!). I like the fact that it's a simple premise, there are no complicated game instructions that take pages to read. In fact, you could play this without reading the (short) rules at all and just make it into what you want it to be - after all, it's just questions! I think that's a real positive.Game is portable too and the box is quite sturdy. The questions range in difficulty levels - some were easy and some none of us had a clue about, so I'd say a good range on average. Happy with it.

Lots of fun
I thought that this might be good for older primary school children, however. I've now read that it's for the age range of 14 plus. Still, it's a lot of fun. Lots of questions on lots of topics and really is a pick and mix. Hours is the fun to be had, easy to play and there is no way you can remember all the cards, so you can get countless times of fun out of it.

Good range of questions but lots of errors and box doesn't close
My partner and I quite like trivia type games so ordered this due to the range of topics. There are lots of questions on varied topics however there were lots of grammatical/spelling errors, or sentences were written so poorly that you couldn't decipher what was being asked. Each question was worth one point but some required one answer whilst others required multiple answers which wasn't always fair. There were often bunches of questions on the same topic/person/event all together which meant when they had to shuffle the cards to space those out, otherwise you already knew the answer from previous questions. The box also wouldn't close properly so we had to tape it shut to stop the cards falling out. Overall, it was ok but more care needed to be taken on the questions/answers as the errors made it less enjoyable to play
