HIGH POWER LED 18 Inch Under Cabinet Light (7702E2-WH5)

I originally had the 24" version of this LED light. I used it in my bathroom, on top of my cabinet, as a makeup light. It was a great light, but it was so bright that it started to bother my eyes. When I saw this 18" version of the same light, with less wattage, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did! It is much smaller in size, but it still gives out a tremendous amount of light! It works perfectly as a makeup light.

If I had to buy this over again, I would not. My fault for buying it in the first place. For me, the in line on-off switch is a nuisance. Where I installed in in my laundry area, the cord has to be run through an access hole to get to the electrical outlet. That puts the switch in a difficult to reach area. HIGHLY recommend that you buy a fixture with a simple on-off switch built directly on the unit itself. My wife (as most wives I am sure) do not want to see a cord hanging down and do not want to have to fiddle with a rotary on-off switch.

Nothing to dislike. It provides much more light than their earlier flourescent model. This was easy to install, with the distance between the screws slightly different, but there is a handy template provided that makes the measuring easy. It is very bright, which is exactly what I needed. It is mounted above a desk underneath a built-in cabinet, as designed. I also recommend this model as it produces 5,000 K (natural) light, i.e. white, not off-white.

Great lighting option for under cabinet kitchen counters. Easy to install and brightest light we have ever had. Yes there are cords, and yes I used plastic push pins beside the cord to hold them up out of sight. For two retirees puttering around the kitchen, it has made a big difference in us being able to see what we are doing, especially on a dark dreary rainy day. WalMart sells them in our store for lower price, but they were out of the 18" when we wanted it.

I bought this on 2/13/18... today in the trash .. stopped working.

Our previous lights got too hot, and I was always worried about them being attached to the ceiling. These lights are cool as can be, giving off white light which is brighter, but I don't have to worry the heat anymore. Very easy to put up.

This is almost an exact copy of what he'd had. It gives off just the right amount of light and is not expensive or glaring. It's fluorescent not LED but that's what he likes best since LEDs can be way too bright sometimes.

I like the color that it lets off
